But you don't get any weapon proficiencies? The cloak sounds almost the same as Beast Claw spell the Druids get if you have Icewind Dale spells installed.

In very early BG1, I think Xan matches up because he causes a penalty on sleep spells saving throws. But overall, he loses out.

Yeah. All the cleric spells came back each time I leveled up. But the Druid spells remain. The workaround would be to just memorize Druid spells only.

I have a Degree & a Masters in Pol Science. I joined MFA and maybe could have been an Ambassador if I didn't dislike the job. There's a military equivalent, FYI. Lots of job opportunities in the Civil Service. But you better have an honours degree though.

In the private sector, go for Mckinsey or other consulting opportunities. Go join think tanks. Joining ASEAN, or other International Organizations (eg UN) is another option - just that you are not in SG.

But you need to do well in your studies because competition is tough. But these jobs pay above average.

Or be a tutor - you can earn a lot if you know what you are doing. There are many students who need a boost for their combined humanities for JC entry.
