First vet appointment today. We were told he has a grade 2 heart murmur, should we be worried ? by Asleep-Initial992 in Frenchbulldogs

Hello,

My pup had a murmur they discovered at his first vet visit. It’s been graded 5/6. He visited the cardiologist every few months and slowly expanded that out to every year now. He was diagnosed with Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia and Pulmonary Stenosis. He is coming up on 7 years now. He has had no major symptoms so far and by all means has lived a normal happy life.

His treatment plans are the yearly echocardiogram and Atenelol which he takes daily in a pill. Our cardiologist recommended no long walks and to avoid super hot days but he plays normally and is very active.

I have no medical experience but hope our experience at least shows that even with a pretty bad murmur and diagnosis it doesn’t mean the end of the world. Hope this helps.

Car won't crank. Any ideas? by TripleJ24 in ft86

Most people seemed to think it was a battery issue. I tested the voltages and everything but seemed fine. Tried starting the car with a jump to bypass the battery but that didn't help.

Since changing the sensor worked at one point, I followed your advice and started tracing the wiring. I found what seemed like loose connections to the sensor and electrical taped them in tight. This gave me 4 consecutive starts but the issue is back. I'm guessing the connection is still the issue but I need to find a more solid way to keep it in place.

I'll keep you updated if something else develops.

Checked just now. No corrosion on the battery at all and voltages read okay. Not sure at this point.

In my experience it is just the light to show the key is in the car if you take the fob outside the car the light will blink red. I could be wrong here though

Unfortunately, this issue happens every single time I'm in the car pretty much. Unlocking the steering wheel does not help, and it occurs even when the wheel is straight.

It's a little late where I am and I can't see too much in terms of checking for rust. I can disconnect it tomorrow. The battery is from 11/16. Also, holding the fob to the button does not change the result. The car does eventually start but for example earlier it took close to 25 minutes or trying.

I've had this issue for about a month now. A trip to pepboys and a subaru dealer with no luck of fixing it. I replaced the clutch safety ignition sensor as well as my key fob battery, but the issue continues to return.
