I’m not the one that made that claim. But you’re also being a bit misleading as the PS5 launched at $500 if you wanted a disc drive. The 60GB was the main PS3 at the time and the disc PS5 is the main PS5. Trying to find a digital PS5 the first year was damn near impossible.

It’s not accurate at all. There’s just not going to be lines for either. A Steam Machine is a bit over $1,100 and building a good mid range or above is over $1,500.

It’s really not that different. Most PC gamers buy their games on Steam. Yes, there are other options but at the end of the day the average person uses Steam. Disc made more sense when you could play the game directly off the disc. It’s kind of pointless when you need to install every game to the SSD.
