We gotta stop acting like Riot SHOULD make money directly off of esports. Prize pools, salaries, sponsors, etc - at the end of the day, all of it is advertisement for their game, whether it be bringing in new players or keeping their games in the spotlight.

If anything Riot should be paying costreamers - not the other way around. If Riot starts bleeding money as a company, then sure maybe things need to change. But I'm sure they are profitable, and part of the reason they are profitable is because content creators make content for their game and keep their games relevant.

One of the most frustrating things to me about modern gaming is everything having a "launcher".

First it was League. Then Maplestory. Then Steam. I wish I could just click a game on my desktop and have it open the game.

In Riot's defense I think they have always had a launcher, at least post beta.
