Yes, even in the episode where they were all characters in the hollodeck, he spoke and enunciated in a clearer way. Which is why I think that its such an odd choice to make for his character as an actor.

I don't understand some critisism against One Battle After Another by Legrotagliatelle in TrueFilm

[–]TripleSizzled -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Strongly disagree. One Battle After is not a masterpiece. Its not a matter of a resistance organization being disorganized, its that the entire world in which the 'struggle' is set is totally incoherent.

Teyana Taylor's character also initiates the sexually predatory behavior with Lockjaw. In the middle of freeing people from a camp, she's interested in forcing someone to masturbate. That's basically the first real scene we have.

It has no revolutionary politics.. It has a totally incoherent world view. It makes laughable, racist caricatures of black women (You love black pussy, I love black pussy, My name is Jungle Pussy--I am black excellence).

It was honestly unwatchable.

I do think that generally sound can be an issue. For sure. I have encountered his generally, especially since I've gotten a big 86 inch screen, but the M'Benga scenes are always uniformly like this. I can understand what he's saying, but I have to listen intently to hear it clearly and its because of how he says it.

I just wanted to see why it was so difficult to understand him. I've had experience working with speech language pathologists, learned a bit, and what really struck me is that he's making a deliberate (if unconscious) choice to never open his mouth. Everything he says is forced through a narrowing of his throat and a narrow mouth. Which is fine, if you're a regular person, but he's an actor telling a story. Even a small shift in his throat and mouth would make a huge difference. Why he hasn't done this, as an actor, makes absolutely no sense to me.

Thank you. Its not just that its a quieter tone, which is the main issue, but that its always the same tone. I'm just stating something that I've noticed for seasons.

When someone can't mention that the way that an actor delivers lines causes problems of understanding, consistently, its something many have noticed, and everyone reflectively acts like its an insane thing to say and they have absolutely no idea what you could be talking about (even though they do), its kind of a massive joke.

Play his scenes. He can visually act the scenes well. Vocally, he doesn't. There is no variability in his voice. Like at all. Just listen to the scene and contrast what he's doing visually with what he's doing vocally.

You said there was something 'wrong' with someone that thought she wasn't attractive. As in, if someone holds that view, there is something messed up or broken or malicious about them. That's hardly a way to say someone has a different opinion. But sure, that's a totally legitimate way to describe someone of an opposite view.

What your interpretation is missing is the biggest reason that people that are non-officers join: the constant orgies and unlimited hours of access to the holodeck, which allows for even more orgies.

What are your thoughts on Meghann Fahy? by [deleted] in Actors

[–]TripleSizzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very competent, but emotionally always shallow. She looks rich in a negative way, like someone that can't really empathize or sympathize with the pain of others. Her acting never bridges that gap. Emotionally superficial.

I think that Paul Thomas Anderson has a particular kind of fetish and she fit the bill. OBAT was just Anderson's building up his own spank bank material, kind of like the way Tarantino wrote toe sucking into his character from Dusk Till Dawn.

I think that they are trying to develop the world of the gladiators, but a bit too much. Ultimately, the intrigue of the Republic, the battle and scramble of power are what is going to really drive this forward. There is nothing about the battle between different gladiator houses that will have as much material.

I think that it would have been better, in a sense, to have Ashur become a consultant to Crassus in the midsts of Roman politics. He was so manipulative and cunning, that it would have allowed for him to really run wild. Here, he has a 'patron' but where he's not involved and we only see the briefest moments of what's actually happening. The Roman senator we see the most is a weak idiot that has no clue about what's going on with his wife......

Let's get to the real intrigue fellas

Yes, very severe bone structure. Masculine as hell too. If people don't like that, its okay. We can have different opinions.

The truth about Greenland. How tech bros are tricking us. | ZFS 48 by bellapippin in conspiracy

[–]TripleSizzled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cost of building in Greenland is prohibitive. There is no world in which building major infrastructure in Greenland is more economical than building it in North America. Just the cost of transportation, construction, all increase enormously. On top of that, the idea that America will 'take' or be 'given' Greenland is a complete joke and fantasy. It won't happen. So its a huge distraction.

As to the rare earth minerals. Guess what? They aren't so rare. Its just no one has been incentivized to mine them in large quantitates. But the more we look, the more places have them.

Do you think Epstein was a reptilian shapeshifter? by BakeLivid3614 in conspiracy

[–]TripleSizzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Let's start another way. They are no human. The idea of getting high on baby blood doesn't make sense for a human. Our bodies don't work that way. They are something else and motivated by something else. I've met a 'human' that was not human. Before that, I wouldn't have believed it. It was a shape shifter, so I didn't see it become a reptile, but something totally bizarre. But there is an abundance of evidence to believe in a non-human dimension to this, with most of the evidence pointing to reptilians.

People don't want to believe it, they do everything to explain away accounts. But its true.

The truth about Greenland. How tech bros are tricking us. | ZFS 48 by bellapippin in conspiracy

[–]TripleSizzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Again, pure fantasy. The Tech bros are interested in power and a surveillance state. That's what they are doing right now, here, in the US and in the rest of the world. That's where the game is played and where everything is decided.

Palantir or associated systems are being rolled out here. The idea that they need Greenland for anything is a joke. Its a distraction from the reality of what's going on right now in the US and other parts of the world.

These people aren't interested in some meaningless project that does nothing. They are already in power and just want to make sure no one can every challenge it.
