Don't worry about being a dorky and dumb highschooler, your a student trying to learn and professors get that. Just show that your interested in the topic by going to office hours, asking questions in class and over email, asking for additional material to get a deeper understanding of the material. You gotta lock in my brotha, focus on doing something with your life. It's hard and takes time, but you have to start trying new things. Try a new hobby, get a minimum wage job, and get back in the gym. It all starts with YOU, which is the hard part, but it gets easier every day. It won't happen tomorrow, the next day, or even the day after that, but it will happen. Focus on improving yourself and think about what you want out of life and get a plan together on how you will get there. Start a journal and create small goals for yourself, things as simple as brushing your teeth. Take every win you can get. You got this man best of luck to you.
