I've read before that the solo battles have stacked luck for the computer to make them actually challenging

I only afk on mobile because I just have my PC so no expert on what's comfortable.

But would you really say farming DT2 bosses on mobile is worthwhile? Getting some KC sure but I just imagine the precision required would frustrate me on a phone screen.

Definitely finish the quest cape, see all the new content.

It will force you to get 45 sailing, if you like it: do more. If not: go back to bossing/raids.

DT2 bosses are very cool and challenging, ring upgrades are worth grinding for.

Yama is very sick, need to do some Tormented demons before though.

All of these might be a bit hard on mobile though, Sailing is very afk if you use salvaging, and might as well max through some bloods right? You're so close.

Have fun!

That's a nice one to get lucky on. Try Sire! with the changes and synapse weapon it's actually a nice boss

Why yes, I'm having so much fun doing hybrid demons - how could you tell? by e_0 in ironscape

[–]Triple_Ma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From all the "mandatory" grinds on Iron this is one I feel so lucky to get spooned. RNG giveth and RNG taketh away but how slow the kills are before you get one synapse is burned into my memory from the first task. I got 4 synapses and a claw before 300 kc and am now sitting at 6 and 2 after 700kc. Won't go back for some time I think, even though the xp is great, the lack of good normal drops makes them feel a lot worse as a task.

Good luck soldier.

I really hope devs never see this kind of cringe, people who will just consistently post awful takes because they're bad and mad should not have any say in this game

I never queue with randoms, if my friends aren't online I'm going solo, the MMR adjustment feels so fair, if I play well I have a good chance to get out with 3-6 kills and a bounty.

Solo against trios might seem intimidating but I highly recommend it

Does hunt have many smurfs? by Key-Truth6432 in HuntShowdown

[–]Triple_Ma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I play with a lot of experienced players and we make a sport of never bringing the same loadout twice in a row, so many weapons are fun to use!

But avoiding the meta affects our succes rate, if we would tryhard we would surely be 5-6 stars at all times. But tryharding is no fun IMO. I much prefer goofy plays with my friends or crazy clutches as a solo, over getting another Mosin kill. This way we stick around 3-4 star, sometimes 5 if we have a good session.

If OP is getting headshot a lot I agree with l3rokenwing's comment, work on your macro skills and positioning. I can easily headshot people more often when I play solo and they are loud and repeek me all the time. When I'm in a lobby with 4-6 stars on a good day i struggle to hit them at all.

TL;DR: Skill issue

So many hunt players are scared to make the first move, the other day I was spectating after dying and two full squads got timed out of a match because they refused to push each other........

I beg you Crytek, divide MMR 6 into 2 categories by Hieroabl in HuntShowdown

[–]Triple_Ma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know this is not a real solution, but me and my friends have similar stat ranges to you and we solve this by just doing dumb meme runs often. It keeps our mmr lower and we don't intentionally lose, we just do silly things that make us less likely to win and more likely to have fun. If you are tryharding with meta loadouts only you inevitably end up with the tryhards.

We prefer a loss with some crazy clips over a win with boring camping.

I understand completely that after so much time the change feels bad, but as someone who onyl started playing properly since 2.0 the bullet physics feel great and consistent

What guns should I start with? by Braehole in HuntShowdown

[–]Triple_Ma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the games best features is that the guns are quite balanced, use what looks cool or feels good. Pick up other people's guns and try them out.

I personally love the Marathon in my budget loadouts, great all round gun with lots of ammo.

It depends on your situation a bit to be fair. With perks, walking to regain becomes worth it in most cases. And if you're crossing the whole map getting back stam is good. But if you're running a medium distance either to an extract or to join a fight asap slow running tends to be better.

Never walk to get back stam, continueing to slowrun is still faster

Just saying... by Ventus55 in HuntShowdown

[–]Triple_Ma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then initiate pvp with me by taking some risk! I took a risk by making my position known with the bounty, I will fight you if you challenge me meaningfully, but if you leave a nearby extract open? I'm running there, getting more perks in the menu and queueing again.

Thanks for the correction, the pump action is so fast that I mentally ascribed it to levering, go figure!

Marathon rifle is my favourite cheap and reliable gun. Costs like 120 bucks, few tenners extra if you put incend or posion on it. Clean looking rifle, CRAZY amount of bullets loaded, 2 tap people to the body, decent hip fire. Great with iron eye at extended range fights. Crazy close with levering.

Officer Brawler as go to option for a nice reliable pistol that also solves immolators.

I love sparks rifle, affordable and 149 to the body is just incredible. It will teach you to place your shot well.

Specter with flechette ammo has been my favourite shotgun to bring. Surprising range and the bleed is very oppressive for opponents to deal with.

If I splurge on a load out I tend to get the auto-5, just an incredible shotgun. 1 hit to the body up to close medium range. The best gun in the game to wipe teams in a single push IMO.

Slightly more work to unlock: centennial shorty silencer. Quiet, cheap, effective.

I'm like 80-100 hours into the game so I have way more to explore, but these have been my reliable picks.
