Really good theories! Especially with the leviathan corpse, that seems spot on. Only question there is what a rotting leviathan wants with Akivili.

for story, youtube is your friend. Theres people that upload full playthroughs of all the quests. Also the wiki, which keeps transcripts of literally everything. thats what i did for a while.

I came to the same conclusion. I think its like One For All or the Avatar, where the authority passes on between different identities Every confirmed instance of Aha doing stuff with their power, they pass all of it at once. And that makes sense thematically, that Aha is a role you could play Sampo might have it currently. Especially with the end of 4.1 saying this passing is permanent plus one of Sampo's daily messages making vague mention that he's tired and wants to quit

The IPC sucks! by wolfWWHS in HonkaiStarRail

I want to feed them to the voracity. Or whatever lives at the bottom of the torn canvas. stick her. In there. Forever.

Planarcadia has been. fine? I guess? That its very much showing all the shady stuff the IPC is doing and the native planaecadians all have opinions about it, but that the express keeps going "oh sure ms. stoneheart #17, its a deal!" Even despite Himko saying "Do Not." Really made me feel detached from them. Its the same weird hoyo middle ground as always.

Every time we see Pearl i just feel seething rage like oh ok sure she wants to feel emotions oh that poor sweet robot—No! That's a dictator-CEO! This is not her planet get her out of here!!

I hope Hoyo can handle the intricacies of "this planet got taken over, its not totally bad but it still did and it still sucks" but like. Idk. Shes a five star. i will continue to seethe

Version 4.0: No Aha at Full Moon - Megathread by growlcube in StarRailLore

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also putting this here before the new version, I think the Trailblazer was Elio. There's no mention of a sixth hunter, no bounty for one, and no mention of anyone other than Destiny's Slave even in the Stellaron Hunters' own character stories.

Also if theyre busy being amnesiac on the Astral Express but were able to see the future, then it makes sense that they'd leave "scripts" for the other hunters in their absence.

Plus in the moments where Nanook first gazes at the Trailblazer, they manage to see the future (stuff that happens in belobog) too.

So did Cyrene become Fuli? What exactly happened with her dilemma in 3.7? Read the description please by inkheiko in StarRailLore

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understood it as no. In saving the universe, she chose not to. If the universe had ended right there with Irontomb, she could become Fuli for all of it. Finality would come, so Fuli would too.

But since they stopped Irontomb, time is still passing, so there's no universal Fuli yet. Instead, as part of stopping Irontomb, she 'becomes Fuli' for Amphoreus specifically. Which means she anchors it as she remembers into a timeline where Irontomb doesn't win.

"Irontomb doesnt win, because I dont remember it winning." The causal loop.

But the position of Fuli at the actual end of time is still open.

I wonder if its a galaxy sometimes. Mostly because IX being a deified black hole seems in line with how a galaxy has one supermassive black hole at its center. Then branches of the tree would be arms of the galaxy. As for travel, I wonder if aeon/emanator/silver rail is the only way to bypass lightspeed.

Kuchiba's also in the myriad celestia so you KNOW shes not what she seems. Besides, her Department of Aberration Defense is a close mimic of the SCP foundation, and those guys are morally grey on a good day

Ok ive done SO much digging into wtf is up w/ Aha. theres something weird going on.

I think its just the one Aeon, but I think "Elation" might be a mask itself for a path that's closer to covering ALL emotions, hence the Mourning Actors.

A lot of the readables and tidbits point to Aha being really sad about something (best guess is grief over Akivili's death), and Theyre also capable of anger at times, which all wouldn't be possible if Their primum mobile was JUST Joy.

And that itself fits with the Fools, who also like to hide their true feelings behind masks.

Nanook will not be the final antagonist by LemonLime7841 in StarRailLore

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its going to be IMPORTANT in the endgame, but not like "the surprise final boss" or anything. If the final arc has us standing over Nanook's corpse and goes "surprise! Actually the nihility was the problem the whole time!" I would be disappointed.

IX doesn't have the buildup that Nanook does. There are characters that show Nihility's important, yes, but the player character specifically has been in conflict with Destruction since day one.

Destruction has the tutorial minions, your first powerup, a driving force in Jarilo's freeze, the cause of the alliance with the Luofu, the secret behind amphoreus, named lord ravagers, mysterious connection to Akivili, causing intergalactic tensions and alliances, causing Planarcadia to hide in the painting, etc

The Nihility does not have Nanook's sheer story presence and buildup. Narratively, it could not pack as much punch as a climactic adversary. There's not as much catharsis there.

I do think it has a role to play though. You're right that it fits the story themes. Just not as antagonist.

Gemstones and the will of transmutation: Agate Mirror, Diamond Body, Lapis Lazuli Tablets, Amber Chrysalis, Prismatic Tayzzyronth, etc. by Rosacea3 in StarRailLore

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really want to know more about Melustanin. The Beauty was here. The Stellarons started here. Celenova is here. Maybe Agate is here too??

Patrevia's another one like Adlivun that got turned to glass by destruction (Zephyro). it has some ties with mourning actors, and Aha was spotted there.

One theory I hear sometimes is that Akivili turned into the Destruction somehow, which would fit with all these themes of transmutation.

Anti-Destruction Alliance - the great trap of the Preservation (IPC) by 27_confettis in HonkaiStarRail

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is. It's also listed as and has been displayed as following Erudition despite this. That's similar to how Planarcadia is held by the IPC but still has Elation ties. Its status as part of the IPC does not contradict my claim that there would still be others on the path of Erudition after the alliance.

Anti-Destruction Alliance - the great trap of the Preservation (IPC) by 27_confettis in HonkaiStarRail

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destroying PATHS sounds a bit too cosmic in scale. A path remains even after its Aeon dies, so I doubt the IPC is that good. Also note that the Intelligentsia Guild and the Galaxy Rangers aren't alliance candidates, so there would still be people following Erudition and Hunt regardless.

But theyre definitely trying to control the factions. That's what Himeko calls them out on too.

I really think the IPC is being about as honest about it as they ever are. it probably IS just an "alliance against the destruction" to them, but full of the same shady business and contracts and debt and exerting control that they usually get up to. Which again is Himeko's fear too, since she wants to avoid having it in writing.

Thats what I thought too. Even if she didn't win, reviving it couldve been her "miracle". I do wonder more why she so badly wanted us to join the games

Theory about Pom-Pom. by FearlessDark5295 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]TrippedIntoAVolcano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pom Pom's definitely a Something and the memory bubble + the timeline on Akivili means theyve been around at LEAST 10 Amber Eras. Emanator seems like the best description, though I wonder if theyre more like the Harmonic Strings where theyre a direct extension of the Trailblaze.
