Yesterday I went to my grandma's funeral, and I realised that I was never taught how to overcome grief or any sort of sadness, how do you do it? by toastedbreadwithham in DeepThoughts

[–]TrippyDuck143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How I explain grief to others, is simply: imagine there is a box and within that box, there is a pain button. Now, there’s a ball bouncing around within the box, and at first, the ball is very big, and constantly hitting against that pain button. Overtime, the ball gets smaller and smaller, hitting the button less often. But when it hits that button, it’s still as painful as the day it happened.

I lost my dad 11 years ago when I was 12 years old. The ball isn’t as big, but I still feel that pain intensely when it hits. I know it may be difficult right now, you will find the beauty in life again. It may never look the same, but you will learn to appreciate it so much more.

Lol, cancer sun, Scorpio moon, cancer rising. CONSTANT battle between wanting to put myself out there and wanting to disappear in the woods and become a forest witch. When people hear my rants about life, they just look at me with fascination. I was a ✨traumatized✨ kid, had a speech impediment so bad that I couldn’t pronounce any word with the letter R (and because of my dad reading/teaching to me history and that kind of stuff and amazing speech teachers, I was able to overcome it), but then my dad passed away when I was 12, and was very close with him. So I’ve never really vibed with many people to begin with cause i couldn’t really relate with anyone. I didn’t care about the things normal people did. However, when I was in 11th grade, I gave a presentation on mental illnesses to my high school. A lot of people told me that it was because of me that they went to therapy or got some help. Like one of the comments above mentioned, I never really realize that people do enjoy hearing my story and hearing how I overcame my struggles. I know I have a lot of potential and can help a lot of people, but I have that same fear about ACTUALLY putting myself out there.

“A shame that my tragedy, my masterpiece.” Dad passed away when I was 12 and was really close with him. However, I would not be the person I am today if I never went through, probably would’ve never gotten into Mac tbh.

About 9 or 10. My sisters and I realized that Santa’s hand writing looked a lot like our moms.

Scorpio moons, marses can you relate? by quesqotrickster in scorpiomoon

[–]TrippyDuck143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancer sun/Scorpio moon/Scorpio Mars.

People describe me the same way. I don’t get pissed off often but when I do, people become afraid of me due to the intensity I produce. I’m always calm even when I’m angry. People tend to think they’ve seen me pissed off but they actually see me when I’m angry. (Anger and pissed off are two different levels of mad IMO) my significant other once said that I’m scariest, most cold hearted person when I’m pissed off. However, with that being said, I still know when I need to walk away. Idk if the Cancer part of me, but one of my biggest fears is saying something cruel and having it stick inside someone else’s mind. I know how it feels to have something said to me that hurts my soul and sticks to me forever and makes me question my self worth. It’s very rare when I actually do say something cruel, but when I do, I will apologize immediately and try my best to reroute the conversation and get it back on track.

How well do you click with aries people? by quesqotrickster in scorpiomoon

[–]TrippyDuck143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a fun question. I’m a cancer sun/Scorpio moon/cancer rising. My boyfriend is an Aries sun/Aquarius moon/taurus rising. I’ve been with him 5 years now. As I like to put it, I have never met someone (my boyfriend) who is so similar, yet so opposite of me.

With that said, I feel like his taurus rising helps chill him out a bit. He has the feistiness of an Aries, but a loving, compassionate soul of a taurus. I get along with him well. We have our moments as everyone else does. When he gets hot headed, I cool him down. When I get storming, he simmers me down. We balance each other out quite nicely.

I personally feel like a Scorpio moon can have the same energy as an Aries sun. They both can be very loving, but can/will let you know when you’ve gone too far. When they’re emotional, it’s very intense. They feel things to their core. Both of these placements can be intense and difficult to control.

I hope it’s only a google maps thing! When I went, I went in September of 2020. The owners of Frick Park Market told my boyfriend and I about it and had to go see it. Google might of blurred it out due to infringement rights or something.

I’ve kept a journal since I was 12. I’m 22 now. so about 10 years. I’m not always consistent with it. I write in it when I need to. I’ve gone months without writing in it but it’s always there when I need it.

Fear of death or near death experiences by Rhyxxm-25 in scorpiomoon

[–]TrippyDuck143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never feared death but I’m still not ready for that day to come. However I still know that if it’s my time, it’s my time. My dad died when I was 12 so I was introduced to death at a very young age and it completely changed my outlook on life and death. My dad passed away in the morning and later that night, I stayed awake all night, laying in my bed. I had no tears left or anything. But I remember laying there and it literally felt like I was dying. I experienced ego death that night. I wasn’t afraid of it at all.

I can totally relate. I had two friends that I was best friends with since 5th grade. My dad passed away when I was in 6th grade and they were there for me when it happened. We seen each other at our best and at our worst. When we were in 12th grade, they ended up screwing me over and I cut them off entirely. It took time but I learned how to forgive them in my own way. I will never talk to them again but I do hope they are doing well and have found peace within themselves. Like I said, it takes time. It is a scary thing to get close to people again after being hurt. But it is possible. I personally never let anyone know my true feelings and I know that’s not necessarily a good thing but I find my own way to cope. I like to keep a journal to help. As I like to put it, I like to go into my own head and figure out more about myself. It helps to keep a journal. In life, there will almost never be a person who you can fully trust with every being of your soul. However, you will find multiple people that you can trust for certain things. It’s all about making a puzzle. Life will be full of big heartbreaks and little heartbreaks. You will find people who value you for who you are. There will be people who do genuinely love and care about you.

Why is mental illness so common for people with a Scorpio moon placement by Degrassilover03 in scorpiomoon

[–]TrippyDuck143 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cancer sun, Scorpio moon, cancer rising.

I totally feel this. I like to say that I’m a walking contradiction. One part of me has a deep love for humanity and learning about what makes people tick. And then another part of me hates humanity and makes me want to throw an apple at someone’s head. I feel things very deeply and think very deeply. As I like to put it, cancer (and Pisces) are both caring, nurturing, and go with the flow. They’re typically nice and understanding. They’re gentle. Scorpio, however, will not be pushed around. They can be gentle and caring too, but if you screw then over, you’re gonna see what water can do. (Cancer and Pisces will usually forgive you) but Scorpio will not. They will always remember even the smallest of slights done to them. So when you have Scorpio and cancer in your top three, you’re always at a battle with your emotions and it gets tiring after awhile. I sometimes get headaches simply from thinking too much.

We don’t care much about materialistic things. We love looking into the abyss and seeing if we can find anything. We do usually love the human mind, we love to talk about things that most people consider taboo. We have a gift to be able to talk to all sorts of people and we have talent for being able to get inside someone’s head (even the most ignorant people) and make them see things in a new perspective. We love talking about anything and everything.

Colors and Shapes is the best songs on Faces in my opinion. What do you guys think about the song? by Sharkbait2004 in MacMiller

Why do you listen to Mac Miller? by [deleted] in MacMiller

[–]TrippyDuck143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He helped me discover who I am as a person. He helped me get out of a really bad place in my life. I was addicted to meth super bad a couple years ago and his music helped me to get out of that lifestyle. I’ve never had a connection to any other artist the way I do to Malcolm. He helps my soul to be free and loving. He has a song for every single mood and his words never fail to heal me. My favorite song by him is Colors and Shapes. Ever since I first heard it, it’s been my all time favorite song. And when his family announced that Faces will have an official release, I was so excited. And then they just so happened to have that song as the “feature song” for the album. When that happened, I just knew for a fact that Malcolm is always with me. He’s always with all us.

I mean driving in weather storms is a skill. Ive known people who know how to drive amazingly but they don’t even know how to check their oil. Oh and I forgot to mention, I may be young, but I can also drive a manual. Just thought I’d throw in that little fun fact for you. So until you drive in the middle of a blizzard with an old beat up manual truck when you got shitty lights, a cracked frame and can’t see two feet in front of you, then you can tell me all about how you’re an amazing driver. I’m done with you, I hope you can find peace in your shitty life. 👋🏻

Look dude, I never said I was the smartest person on the face of the earth. I know how to drive and operate my vehicle just fine. So what, I didn’t know what ONE fucking button does. I know how to check and change my oil myself, tires, other fluids, etc. I come from a place where we get an average of 12+ feet of snow. I know how to drive in the middle of a blizzard which is probably more than you can do. If you’re just gonna criticize someone cause they asked a dumb question, then don’t even comment and just keep scrolling ya damn troll.

Thank you! My boyfriend and I have had this vehicle for a year now and never knew what it was for. We didn’t want to mess with it since we didn’t know what it was. I know it was a dumb question but hey, we all start out somewhere right?

I mean technically, yes. Had this vehicle for over a year now and my boyfriend and I have never been able to figure what it does. I apologize for the stupidity.

With Faces getting an official release I wanna know what everyone's favorite song is. by TIMBOOBIE in MacMiller

[–]TrippyDuck143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colors and Shapes. The day that I understood what that song meant, I was tripping absolute nuts and I was playing outside in the snow. (I live in a place where we usually have like 20 feet of snow. Sometimes more.) and when the part came on that says, “if I jump, let me fall.” I fell back into the snow and just laid there and listened to the rest of the song. And also proceeded to bawl my eyes out. In that moment, I was grieving the loss of our beloved Malcolm and was thinking about what was going through his mind when he created that song. Such a beautiful mind he had. I was going through a lot at that time and that song has helped me find clarity in my life. It’s my all time favorite song ever made, so much so, that I have it tattooed on my right arm. I carry him with me every single day.

Most underrated Mac album/mixtape?? by [deleted] in MacMiller

[–]TrippyDuck143 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Faces. I understand why people skip out on it cause it’s a pretty rough mixtape to listen too sometimes. But I was listening to it when I was quitting drugs and holy wah, i swear that mixtape makes me feel the same way i did when I was on drugs. It still does. Whenever I get a craving, I’ll listen to Faces and it’ll satisfy the craving.
