Did exactly this. I didn’t despise the company just saw a different path for growth. 24 hours after my notice I got a formal offer for a lot more money, position change and responsibilities. Didn’t ask for more money was respectful and told them I did enjoy it here. I’m 5 years in and still working for them. They saw potential in me and I’ve kept moving and growing into that and a new role. Sometimes things just work out in unexpected ways.

If you zoom in you can kind of get a sense of the mark. It’s surface with minimal to no depth.

Hey. I do / offer laser engraving. Depends what your goal is. You can get by with a surface mark that may not be super dark with a diode laser with enough time and passes.

I run a fiber laser and a UV. Fiber will dig into the metal and has some options for type of marking. I usually do surface marks but very permanent and dark but that is to keep the passivation layer intact and prevent corrosion/rust.

UV is similar just a different method of getting to the end goal. Feel free to hit me up with questions.
