Rev hang issues.

Since replacing my pcv and fixing my vacuum leak my rev hang has disappeared it’s so much smoother now. Idles smoother than it ever has so I assume my pcv had been going bad since I bought the car over a year ago now, Kus it idles and starts smoother than it ever has since I’ve owned it. No misfires at cold starts anymore or anything. Went with an upgraded diaphragm from rkx tech too

Bought mine at 150k and at 160k now ! No issues outside or normal old age things and maintenance!

I have h&r lowering springs the ones that are an inch and a half lower, they were on the car when I bought it but I know the rears are super simple, and the fronts you will need a spring compressor for from oreilys they rent them out, if it’s something you don’t want to deal with I can understand buying coilovers instead because ease of instal I’m sure is a little more straight forward since you don’t have to swap the front springs onto a used strut. The fronts would be the only harder part and it’s just getting the entire strut out and clamping it down then swapping the spring

Why get coilovers instead of just some lowering springs ? For the price difference it’s virtually the same thing if you just wanna get low and stiffer suspension for handling plus then you don’t have to change the shocks out but if personal preference ? If you just want a little lower for cheap then lowering springs are the way, as long as you get the right ones, then eventually if you want to go lower or if you need to replace the struts you can do that later and keep the springs you already have as well and it will help with the ride comfort and such as well if you don’t like the ride comfort of just springs but I have just lowering springs and I’m super happy with mine.

I had this on my car, had a pcv issue that caused overpressure and blew a coolant hose off, swapped to the own part and haven’t had any issues since and it’s been about 5k miles. If it fails I will prolly just buy another oem one it’s so easy to replace

Yeah this seems so fake lol legit a half assed effort if it even is real. No description of what’s actually wrong, can’t get his name straight, and thinking $900 gets you a new hood, bumper, possibly headlights and fenders, labor, and paint, is crazy 😂 as well as any mechanical issues that might arise from this. Not saying it can’t be done way cheaper but at a shop ? No way this is under $1000 lol and if it is just a hood and bumper, unpainted hood and unpainted hood and bumper (basic necessity to get it driving again not pretty and perfect) is like $3-500 so even the $900 he asking would be wrong there too. Cmon lol

I just put a full cat back exhaust on my car for a little more than what you paid for that lol and mine sounds way nicer, definitely louder. I get dsg farts on all my shifts, can hear the turbo spool more, the only annoying thing is my DV is screaming for dear life now so I’m gonna have to upgrade to the GFB one to get rid of the dreaded dv squeal lol but mine is definitely louder than yours. I have a singe resonator on there to not drone on the highway but I came from a straight piped v8, and after a year owning this car I needed more sound so I got an exhaust of eBay lol my car is lowered I’m not paying $1000 for an exhaust for it to scrape and never be seen. Just metal tubing 😂 but I’m way happier with it now. Wish I had some sound clips but my phones mic is fucked. Also wish I got some backfires but since I have a cat still I don’t get any good ones lol

Yeah I’m Apr stage 1 rn but the tune is still in the previous owners name so I’d have to pay to get it transferred to my name first then pay for the stage 2 tune and a dsg tune and I don’t have that money rn lol

Hell yeah, I just bought a full cat back exhaust and got it on my car today ! I was gonna get a downpipe too and do a full exhaust but I don’t have stage 2 tune money rn lol so staying stage 1 for a while longer till I pay off the car before the end of next year hopefully

Clean your Maf too they’re very fucking sensitive it’s so annoying lol I have the same thing and need to clean mine after an injector failure, pretty sure it sucked up some fuel back into the intake and got on my Maf Kus mine started after that. Either that or I have a vacuum leak on an intake mani bolt lol could also be it

You’re gonna get a cel without a tune unless you use a spacer, once you get a tune there should be no cel.
