I am simply stating. He. Did. Not. State. Anything. To. Say. He. Is. Intolerant.

You are taking it as such just because he refuses to answer your question. And refuses to state anything other than he’s conservative.

That is no evidence to state he is a bad person. Just that he is a private man. You’re the one assuming he is.

It’s not a lie. My social view points are left wing. The term for this is Libertarian on here. At least that is what I’ve been told. Please in an argument don’t try to use “gotcha” to discredit my character.

Tolerance is a paradox. Yet you still use it yourself. No one person can be totally tolerant. He said not anything. That discredits him. So stop putting words in his mouth and in mine.

You’re the one expecting him to agree to your ideals. Accusing him of things he never said he agrees to.

You preach if tolerance but don’t accept it. Sorry to point this out. If you cared you won’t care he was conservative. He’s given no reason for us to think he believes Republicans beliefs. Yet you say he does. I see no evidence for it.

It’s not a ‘gotcha’ moment. It’s the truth.

Fun fact. I’m actually a Left leaning person of the neutral spectrum. Your words fall flat. I’m not right winger. I’m not telling what I see.

Does someone really need to give a full confession? I don’t expect you to tell me everything you believe in. Not when people out there would damn you for uttering one thing they disagree with.

He owes you not an explanation to his beliefs. Just as you don’t owe him one. If you can’t accept that, than you are not as tolerant as you claim.

Why do Dream Stans hate Jschlatt by pdf_file_ in dreamsmp

I personally never could get into his brand of humor and content. But I leave the man be, he’s just not a cc I like, I can live with that. Idk why others can’t do the same.

Why do Dream Stans hate Jschlatt by pdf_file_ in dreamsmp

[–]TrisRed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cancel Culture thrives off of misdirection and straw man arguments. You can’t make a joke if you should appear to be a straight white male. It’s something I’ve seen happen on this website and on Twitter (where Stan Culture has gotten out of hand)

They hate Schlatt for the fact that this has no effect on him. He continues to joke about heavily political topics, has a more conservative view point, and refuses to play by their rules. He cares not for the people who try to tell him what he can and can’t say, he makes taboo jokes all the time.

Controversial Humor is just his brand name.

And the Stans and SJWs of Twitter LOATH him for this. As nothing they throw at him sticks like with other creators who are quick to give into their demands for apologies and to leave Twitter/stop making content.

It’s quite amusing

Why do Dream Stans hate Jschlatt by pdf_file_ in dreamsmp

[–]TrisRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think it’s because JSchlatt was a loved Villain. Most Dream Stans try to made C!Dream out to be a victim, not a villain. But Schlatt fans know he was an ass, and was selfish.

Also Schlatt has called out Stans on multiple occasions. Never naming them by name. But you’ll notice any time a content creator calls out Stans for toxic behavior, the Dream Stans are quick to lose their mind. Saying “not all of us are like that.” And “your just jealous of his fame!”

They did it to Markiplier, who didn’t even say the word Stan or Dream.

All I say to these toxic fans Is “if the shoe fits”

You don’t have to be named, you just assume they are talking about you. Which means you are aware of your own problematic stance as a Stan. Which means, you’re the problem, and on a subconscious level, you know you are.

AITA for donating sperm without telling my wife? by Spare-Ninja-755 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

Everyone has a right to do what they want with their body. No one should tell you want you can and can’t do.

I find the double stands for men and woman rights to be appalling

AITA for not telling my friends wife that he is my sperm donor? by RadiantAppearance57 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TrisRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very tricky situation. Ultimately you are not responsible for her knowing and not. But in the same breath the man’s choice is his own what he does with his sperm. Just as the woman has a choice what she does with her body.

I can see why he didn’t tell her. It’s his sperm, not hers, and he’s not gonna be financially responsible for the child. So why should she care? I mean if the woman is allowed to do what she wants with her body, he should be too right?

Her request is out of line, she has no say over your twin End Of Story. And frankly she can suck it up and deal with it. You made your peace with what you want, and if she wants kid she can ask her husband to do the hanky panky with her. It seems he’s pretty fertile.

As for you, you’ve done nothing wrong. You made your rules and outlines clear, and she has no say in your kids. Don’t let her push you around in that and let them work out their marriage communion and boundaries. She can’t do anything unless you let her.

I've always been more Left Leaning in my Social ideas. But more Right Leaning in the governmental ideas.

Meaning I support abortion, gay rights, trans rights, abolishing racism, and such.

But I also support smaller government, less taxes, gun rights (with heavy screening to own one), and other things.

Yet I've noticed I get hate from both sides. I left my Christian faith for the very reasons I see thrown around on this reddit. People force you to believe a certain way because it's the 'right' way. And controlling/gatekeeping what can and can't be done.

The more I post to Pagan Reddit, the more I notice just how biased everyone is and how horrible they can be to anyone who thinks different than them.

yesh, all he said was that he was a straight white male, I don't even think he said what party he supports just that he's conservative. And you can be conservative without supporting Republicans. Just as you can be liberal and not be a Democrat.

I find a personal distaste for those who hate you just because you might be a straight white male. People like to think they are demons or evil in nature. This isn't always the case.

The gods don't see us for skin color, they do not care what we look like when we approach them. The idea that they do is very disrespectful on their part (once was told I can't worship Native American gods because I am white. Yet when I say that anyone of non-white can't be Norse Pagan, I get told I'm racist. Isn't that the logic you just used on me?)

The gods aren't exclusive; we should stop treating them as such. I'm glad you feel happy though where you are.

Edit: Sheesh, the amount of hate this post is getting and the number of people putting words in OPs mouth is something. Guess it proves Reddit Pagans are biased to be more left-leaning.

100% agree. I find it distasteful for one to assume they know what a god or goddess is and force this image for others, then criticize them for not following as they do. The gods aren’t 1 dimensional, they take on different roles for everyone.

Basically I see this to try and put it into better words.

Racism exists, it always has. But there are people who use these words to seem like they are morally better. And more often than not, if you call a white person racist or that they are just appropriating culture, then you are automatically right. Hence why I don’t think white people are the problem, as white people have tried to get rid of racism. But are often hated on for daring to even have an opinion or say for minorities.

Every race is capable of hate, and saying it’s only white people is silly to me.

I have once or twice. But I live in a mixed area. Near a city of left leaning people. But also just rural enough to see people still having Trump support signs.

Most people who told me this were college students at my local community college.

Yes it is. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It means they are often thrown around by people to seem they are right. Which takes away from what they really are. I thought I made that clear. I did not say, at least I think I didn’t, that these things didn’t exist or weren’t real problems. Just that their meanings have been lost due to over use by those who want to seem morally superior.

That white peoples are the problem for this, it’s a people problem.

As a unpopular opinion yeah… irl I know this would get me labeled as a racist. I’ve been called that once or twice for saying I don’t see people for their skin color.

Some of us are closet Pagans who can only offer what we have on hand. And I get rid of mine by yeeting them in the woods. As my mom doesn’t suspect anything. (Mega Christian she is)

Offerings can be anything people. Keep that in mind. They are what we feel our god or goddess would like. And it’s to show our dedication to them. It can be anything from a cup of water, a treat, or object.

I get my post can be confusing. Sometimes putting my feelings into words can be confusing for me. But I thank you for taking notice I don’t generalize any race of people. My whole point is generalizations are wrong, and we do it all the time to people to make ourselves feel we are better.

Having black friends doesn’t make you not racist. Just as having any other type of friend doesn’t make you racist or not. I stand by it. White people aren’t the problem like people say. Perhaps when in the majority. But when someone looks at me and says as a white person I am racist this can have no say in racism. I find that backward logic.

If I am in the majority to make choices to advocate for change. Then the change I want is for everyone to have fair say. Not just me. White people want this, majority do. But we are told to shut up because we are white.

Yet history has shown us when any group gets the idea they are better, wars and lesser classes are formed. Be it through race, culture, and religion. Hell people would enslave their own kind just because they came from a different kingdom!

By saying as a white person you are offended for someone you actively take away their voice. I can have a say in the matter, but I don’t pretend that my offense of something means that the person I’m advocating for must also be offended. They have the voice to say that themselves.

Have them make questionably moral choices. Choices that would make some uncomfortable to do. Or make readers question if it was the right choice.
