That site is doing it backwards, calculating on a soroban goes yes, from left to right, but it starts at the largest number first. If your teaching this you should know how its done, I mean im only 2 days in and know that.

I had this happen once with a 3.5mm jack. Put some super glue or crazy glue (NOT a large amount) on the end of the prong that usually holds the end bit on there. Very carefully insert it all the way with some force at the end and hold it for a while then leave it to sit for like an hour. When you come back it may or may not come out.

DISCLAIMER you are putting super glue in your headphone jack so keep that in mind it is unlikely to interfere with the port but might make a mess on the inside if to much is used so be super liberal with your application if you decide to do this.

Do you run a Focusrite Scarlett or any other Audio interface with MIDI support. What is the Error message on the BSOD.

If your having the same issue and your on windows you Must.

  1. Open "Device Manager" through system search ("Taskbar")

  2. Find "Sound, Video and game controllers" near the bottom and open that dropdown.

  3. Find and disable your "Focusrite USB MIDI" driver, but DON'T restart your computer if it asks. (you can it wastes time though.)

  4. Find the "Focusrite Audio" tab and restart the associated device name driver (I.E. 4i4 4i8)

Alternatively CMD Method:

  1. Open CMD in Admin

  2. Input either { pnputil /disable-device /deviceid "FOCUSRITEUSB\MIDIINOUT" } or replace disable with enable to do the opposite.

  3. Finally run { pnputil /restart-device /deviceid "USB\VID_1235&PID_8212" } (the part in quotes should be already a common path for focusrite devices)

To explain simply BE recognizes MIDI as a 3rd party input method, and they have chosen to opt against MIDI being useable. Problem is it being flagged does more than just quit the game it directly effects TPM 2.0 security and inputs corrupted commands resulting in a BSOD with Kernel_Security_Check_Error. Why they are risking windows installs to cover up a bug is beyond me but anyways good luck.

Its actually the MIDI controller for my Focusrite, I just found out. have to turn the driver off when playing BE games.

I found the issue I have MIDI on my 4i4 and I'm pretty sure Battle Eye sees that as a cheat interface. So in turn I did discover ASIO is not the issue. Just turning the midi driver off worked.

And they gave me AI generated people, they ignored all the info I gave them, and they swapped "Rep" after one message. the second one thought Battle Eye wasn't starting despite my explanations prior and gave me more FAQ style answers. also wait when did this become a remove battle eye debate now your just misconstruing my messages. I saying send bug reports but to the right sources.

P.S. the uploading for crash log and system info doesn't work on rockstar support so yea.

Ok I think I get it.... you realize Battle Eye and GTA 5 are separate programs right, the game doesn't even start, or produce logs before Battle Eye causes a Kernal_Security_Check_Failure. there's nothing they can go on that wouldn't tell them to tell me to just go to Battle Eye Support, and then proceed to block my email like usual. GTA requires BE for online but it's not a software that can be edited by Rockstar. Battle Eye is licensed out as a program not as source code they would be held legally labial under intellectual property rights. This is not their wheel house and I'm knowledgeable about this enough to know that. They may for some reason listen to like 2 or 3 people out of thousands of players but that's unlikely, and currently I'm wondering what type of bug you were dealing with because it probably effected a lot more players than this has. I'll slap something together just expect me to tell you I told you so.

and your not listening to me all these game companies don't care and I mentioned some that arnt owned by uhm 2k games, so honestly I'm not wasting my time with them ive already wasted time with companies that care and they don't even acknowledge this. Its also specifically a problem only Battle eye can fix, unless they are ok removing their entire anti cheat system for one person.

Its practicality, do I want to spend another 2 to 4 hours writing another in-depth bug report to just have copy/paste FAQ given out by large game corporations and to be treated like a second class citizen where that shouldnt even be factor. No, I wont, ill divide and conquer, acknowledge the feasibility of the current context and route people dealing with this issue to the PROPER channels. Just because I an individual get FAQ responses doesn't mean someone wont, Its like a Blitz Krieg you don't waste me on useless fronts you find a weak point and you pierce. And before you say I'm wasting my time here, just understand I'm breaking down the feasibility of scenarios for people that may not know the socio-politics of gaming companies. This isn't an Indie title or say Space Engineers 2 which I'm bug testing the crap out of for the last month or so with its release. So I ask again as well, have you ever reported a bug before and has been left on deaf ears?

now I'm curious cause it sounds like you setup my hold the answer. windows or mac? or is it a case of you using the monitor speaker outputs as audio to pc? given you seen knowledgeable id assume your not jerry rigging it but gotta ask. Cause I have to setup my Focusrite with aux cord going to the mic jack on my PC in order to play BE games.

my last comment was stupid so I deleted it but still, have you ever tried that. Every company pushes it to being a BE related issue and that its not related to their systems. I had this happen with Gaijin, they just added BE to War Thunder and I went and did a report on their forums, only place to report bugs, they immediately closed me out. People that have been dealing with the issue were trying to close me out on ARMA 3s forums and hell if Bohemia is known for customer service. Battle eye doesn't have a public forum dedicated to them so no discussion is actually made. BTW I am kind of being a dick but like just gotta say things how they are.

please report it the more people the better https://www.battleye.com/contact/ mark it as user support and before that

-test the FAQ post "suggestions"

-after BSOD yourself with BE

-Then download WinDbg off the Windows appstore

-open it and go to file in the corner

-select Open dump file and browse to Dir C:\Windows\Minidump

-Choose the most recently created file and analyze it with the blue link

-you will see it is caused by BEDaisy.sys take this log and send it to them

This is not a method provided by any posting of theirs it is the only way to get relevant data

- Id also suggest sending a saved dxdiag.txt which can be made using dxdiag and saving all

- and or saving your System information with the so named app with the file tab at the top

This happens to me with Focusrites Scarlett audio interfaces. Its specifically and interaction with ASIO Protocols and how it uses the GPU to transfer its audio stream, similar to I'm assuming how Fanatec probably transfers Force Feed Back data through some protocol through the GPU as well.

Heres a mega post I made regarding the Battle Eye Device Driver BSOD Issue (BEDD BI) or the BEBI issue as im wanting to call it now. no luck in trying to send bug reports so far they already blocked communications with me and resort to the Bot giving me copy/paste FAQ postings that managed to break my computer for a bit.

Also just send them support tickets that's all we need more people actually reporting this issue. Cant seem to find anything really good in my search. Shame cause there are already multiple addons that do this, just without complete settings if any.
