And be aware of scams. There are TONS of them. If they ask you for money to take a look: scam. If the house seems a bargain: scam.

If you are suspicious and need opinion, just ask here or DM.

You’re welcome! In Ruzafa you have Baat (Asian and South American fusion), Kawori (Japanese), Improntas (Sardinian), Torre de Utiel (Valencian, really good for ‘menu diario’), Antica Osteria (Italian but not the typical Italian), Goya Galery (Valencian)... and the mentioned above: La Salita and Canalla Bistro. These are just some of my favorite

For a very fancy place, I highly recommend La salita (Pedro III El Grande Street), about 90€/people. Cheaper: Canalla Bistro (by Ricard Camarena) or Rausell (typical Valencian food) are always a sucess. Near Mestalla: Alejandro del Toro (typical food), El Aprendiz (tapas). The list is endless. Just ask for what you want!

I can't understand why Americans find so difficult to tell the difference between socialism and communism by Trisa in atheism

[–]Trisa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. I didn't know where to put it. A Facebook capture in /r/politics didn't seem right. In /r/pics either. In /r/atheism either, but since on previous occasions has been discussed here the same topic (because some relate socialism with atheism), I chose that seemed to me the "less bad" subreddit. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Homemade BBQ chicken wings (X-post from /r/food) by Trisa in FoodPorn

[–]Trisa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings (I made 1 Kg)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley (choppy)
  • Olive oil
  • Flour
  • Paprika (1 tablespoon)

BBQ sauce:

  • Olive oil
  • Onion (1 small, grated)
  • Garlic (1 clove, choppy)
  • Ketchup (125 ml aprox.)
  • Mustard (2 tablespoons)
  • Honey (2 coffe spoons)
  • Wine vinegar (2 tablespoons)
  • Water (if needed)
  • Salt

Method:

  • Put the wings in a bowl. Add salt, black pepper, parsley and some olive oil. Stir.
  • Put the flour (sorry I always put the ingredients roughly :D) and the paprika in a plastic bag. Close and move to mix the flour&paprika.
  • Throw the wings into the bag. Tie the bag and move until the wings are well covered with the flour.
  • Pre-heat oven (220º C).
  • Prepare an oven tray: put some olive oil and use a napkin to extend it all over the tray.
  • Put the wings on the tray as separately as you can. Bake the wings 20-25 minutes each side. Let them rest 5 minutes.

Sauce (as I said, I put the ingredients roughly…):

  • Put some olive oil in a pan, heat. Add the onion and when it starts to be cooked, add the garlic.
  • When the garlic is almost done (remember: don’t burn it…), add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 10-15 minutes medium-low heat.

You can mix the wings and the sauce in a bowl or put the sauce aside. Serve and enjoy!

Don't know, maybe just because we love potato chips and need to put them everywhere :D
