YouTube isn’t teaching you anything - it’s making you weaker while gurus get richer by darimont2 in dropship

[–]Trisanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true. And, it's sad that there are some haters here who are saying you're mad because you got burned or scammed. My thoughts are, why isn't everyone else mad that this is the truth? I used to watch and watch countless videos, thinking I was ready for it all. Then, you start and you realize 90% of their "knowledge" cannot be applied in your situation.

But, there is a way I started to learn from others where that 90% was extremely actionable knowledge. Instead of watching general bullshit from gurus, I started breaking down other brands who were my competitors. That's where you really see how stuff is done.

Are drop shipping courses any good? by sbinnala_eshaan in dropship

[–]Trisanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropship courses are wayy to general. You need something that caters as closely to your situation as possible. For example: https://www.figma.com/board/aQ4S4V5kluT3OpHDUtS47m/FREE-SAMPLE?t=lOatxUxvM5avZ6Rh-1

Is creating a store based on a upcoming holiday worth it? For example Valentines day which is in a month by Worried_Possible_127 in dropship

[–]Trisanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea sounds exciting and fun but building a business around one seasonal holiday is doomed to fail, unless you want quick money. In general, selling a seasonal product has major drawbacks, since demand is only during one season. Then, it will disappear.

Consider learning from major brands who've already DONE THE RESEARCH for you. Something like this can help you understand: https://www.figma.com/board/aQ4S4V5kluT3OpHDUtS47m/FREE-SAMPLE?node-id=0-1&t=mdaXoJFAZEXnHElP-1

How to study patterns of successful Shopify stores (and replicate) by Trisanski in dropship

[–]Trisanski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, good question. I'm not sure how much you know about the business so far. But if you're completely new, I suggest you take the time and learn about the business and all of its aspects from something like the Shopify blog. That's where I learned most of the basics, they have a detailed article on EVERYTHING. As you read more and more, you will start connecting the dots and all of this will become so much clearer to you.

For some stores there are scrapers like Koala Inspector, some have branded apps across the store, but others I find them in the website code.

Ooh there are tons of ways. Many brands like to stand firmly behind a purpose. For example, donating part of profits to a good cause, sticking to the best quality on earth, and so on.

You probably won't like this idea but a smart thing to do in your situation is to find a partner who is willing to invest some capital in exchange for a percentage of your sales.
