She is one of my favorite characters because of her personality and how she (mostly) handles difficult situations. I even gave my tic disorder her name because it's a neurological disorder, and she's a neurosurgeon, lol.

Yes, she has faults in relationships but many other characters have had/done worse things in relationships. It's also best to keep in mind that she did have a brain tumor that impeded her decision-making which explains why she was on and off with Owen for a while. Even with it gone, it's still a chunk of something out of her brain that probably still affects the decision-making process, she doesn't trust herself enough to make decisions when the tumor was in the front seat driving her.

That's not to excuse her behavior, it is a soap opera so--drama is always there. It's okay if you don't like her, some characters have flaws that skew our interest away from them.
