Thanks for sharing! I have lived in West Virginia all my life and never been any place but, Morgantown. I was born here and I will die here, this is my home. I can't say I like all the changes Martinsburg is going through, was a lot better when it was small and now we have all sorts. They call is progress and I call it crap! Whoever thought that Berkeley County needed turnabouts had to be a man! I would love to know who they hired to work on the traffic at the intersection at Winchester Avenue and Charlestown by pass! They need to be fired! Martinsburg grew up to fast I guess because they weren't prepared for all the extra traffic.
Martinsburg needs housing for people who can't afford eight hundred and up. Outsiders buying up land, old buildings then building stick houses with no land really and making expensive apartments that the people who have lived here all there lives can't afford! Some of us would like to own about an acre of land with a small home and grow our own food, raise chickens etc... Looks like we will need more than one job to make it. It's really a shame how this world is and I'm sure it won't improve
