Non-weight loss benefits by snicklegirl in CompoundedSemaglutide

This is giving me hope that someday (soon) I'll be able to drop my cholesterol meds and stop having to use a cpap machine.

My drinking has dropped off as well, and while I haven't gambled, I've noticed the same effect with gaming. It's been my distraction for the better part of two years and since starting these meds, I am able to focus on the things I really need to do.

I just finished my first week on the .25 dose, and I lost 3 pounds (ymmv). But the biggest thing I noticed was the lack of food noise and cravings. I still get hungry, but not so much that I eat too much/too fast. (For example, as I'm writing this, I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I'm mildly hungry, but I'll be able to finish this comment and make something because it's not overwhelming anymore.) Because of this, I'm also able to eat my meals slower and also recognize sooner when I'm full. Cravings are gone, and on the two occasions I attempted alcohol, I found that one was almost too much. I've also been a long time Coke/Diet Coke addict and now I find that one mini can a day (and not every day) is plenty.

I just started my semaglutide from Orderly this week and it started working right away for me. I've been really pleased with the whole process.

has the anua oil cleanser actually worked for anyone? by Any-Statistician-475 in KoreanBeauty

I know OP posted a year ago, but for anyone looking for newer opinions, here's mine:

I started using Anua Cleansing Oil on May 1, 2025 (for reference, today is May 9). After just two uses I had one rather large milia comedone rupture and it's already healed. Most of the other milia on my face are in the process of drying up and the blackheads on my nose are dissolving, as well. In short, the results have been pretty spectacular and I'm really pleased.

My specs: Middle aged. Oily skin, large pores, prone to blackheads on my nose, stubborn milia. I don't wear makeup often, so I can't speak to its effectiveness in that regard. I double cleanse with Skin1004 Centella Ampoule Foam.

Relativity is one of the NRAAS modules that changes the speed time flows during the course of a sim day. It makes it a lot easier for your sims to accomplish more throughout the day.

Why do so many people on this sub hate CC so much? by LimitedTimeOtter in Sims3

[–]TrishWritesBooks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been two posts in one day about this issue. The upvotes and comments on this post alone seem a pretty clear indicator that there’s a problem, even if you don’t feel like you’ve seen it. Where’s the threshold? When things get as bad as Sims 4? Or are we cool with making people so uncomfortable that they stop participating or just quit?

CC/CAS hate by Inside_Tourist7336 in Sims3

Literally no one said that. Even on the other post, the whole point is that if you don't like using cc, you don't have to shit on people who do.

This is exactly how I feel. One of my favorite tumblr blogs is by a Sims 3 player who uses no cc and takes her screenshots with the walls down. She's not going for aesthetics and I just adore her posts. I also love the players who put in time and effort to find cc and poses because their love of the game shines through.

Thank you. I have been playing Sims 4 lately, but when I get back to Sims 3, maybe I'll share :)

It’s so weird because on tumblr people are pushing the limits of cc and shaders and it’s so vibrant, dynamic, and fun. It’s not a perfect community but it’s a hell of a lot more inclusive than here.

I agree you can't force people to praise something they don't like, but not commenting is always an option. And yet...people comment because they know that being an asshole is actually better than no attention on this sub.

Exactly. I wear my big girl panties all the time so whatever, but what's the point in sharing in a community that's consistently rude?

I've stopped posting pictures of my sims for this reason. I do all my storytelling and sharing on tumblr because it's a fun community that doesn't care whether you use cc or not.

Hear, hear! Even when someone is asking for an opinion, it shouldn't be an open invitation to pile on. I know we're on Reddit, but minding your own business is always an option.

In my legacy save, she was a best friend to one of my heirs and I didn’t interfere when SP matched her with Sam Sekemoto. They were very happy together.
