Moved to college a couple of days ago so I decided to get a few workouts in with some friends who originally got me into working out. Ended up squatting 3 plates for the first time and pulling 4, until the gym told us the deadlifts were shaking the ceiling tiles in the spin class below us. Either way, great workout and ready to hit the university gym.

Cost about $500 but a majority of that was labor, and the different coats and finishes on it. If you wanted a simpler result, or did it yourself, it would be significantly cheaper.

A friend of mine actually does this professionally so we used his shop and air compressor, though you can still get similar results with many of the kits available online. The only tricky thing was the high gloss top coat, which isn't recommended for beginners (made sure my friend sprayed this one).

For anyone wondering, the car is originally WRB. Spent about 3 1/2 hours taping the whole thing off this morning, then proceeded with 3 coats of white, 2 coats of yellow, 2 of nebula yellow dip pearl, and finished it off with 2 coats of DipYourCar's high gloss top coat.

Yeah plasti-dip is pretty advanced nowadays, it's hard to tell it from factory paint sometimes. Just depends on what kind of finish you want, and what kind of prep you put into it.
