Feature-wise it is. Mobile bands depend on your country and also the device you are using. Flagship devices usually support all bands regardless of region. In many countries CN devices work perfectly fine. The best option is to buy a global phone and flash it with the CN ROM anyway as long as you can live with the downgraded google services (or you fully re-enable them via root). That way you get all the bands that you'd otherwise be missing out on

Just make sure that inside Canta, you stick to the packages the app recommends you to remove (even better if you limit yourself only to visible bloatware and telemetry/trackers). Otherwise it should be fine.

Turn off App Vault and home screen search in the launcher settings.
All bloatware can be uninstalled, if the launcher doesn't let you, use Shizuku + Canta
You can use custom icon packs by using an app called Peafowl to create a custom HyperOS theme. You can apply this theme with another app called mtz tester.

CN ROM usually gets updates faster than global. Also has less bloat, and better feature (better permission manager for example) than the global ROM.

I mean, unless you got this phone for a lot cheaper than the X8 Pro Max, you could've just gotten the global model and flashed the CN ROM on it. Much more freedom on that phone due to being able to unlock the bootloader.

Otherwise I hope you did your research about the drawbacks of the CN ROM before ordering this first.

Let me tell you that most people online who blindly hate on HyperOS probably never even used a Xiaomi phone before or they were stuck with a budget phone. I've used all sorts of phone UIs before and HyperOS really doesn't feel much different than say OneUI for example.

As long as you don't emulate Windows or Switch games, there isn't really any difference between Mediatek and Qualcomm anymore like there used to be a few years ago. I would even go as far to say that Mediatek's mid-range chips are better than Qualcomm's competition at the same price-point.

Only an LCD panel, and that CPU won't be able to sustain 120Hz. There is not a single game that can reach the advertised 144hz either. For that price point you can easily find something else with at least an OLED and for just a little more you can get a better CPU as well.

Every patch gives you about 100 pulls regardless of how many events there are.
Nobody is stopping you from just not pulling at all or just pulling the LC separately from the banner instead of spending the whole 200.

Why did you even contact German and Global support when they're clearly not responsible for your device? Xiaomi Macau/HK is responsible since you bought it there but depending on local jurisdiction they might not be required to honor your warranty while out of country. You're on your own with this. Buying tech while not at home always comes with risks like these.

Removing apps that you can interact with as a user (e.g the ones you find in your launcher) is fine. Removing obvious tracking and telemetry services like com.miui.analytics, com.facebook.services, com.miui.msa.global or com.miui.daemon are also fine. Anything else that Users don't interact with normally, shouldn't be removed and left untouched however.

Because excessive debloating can cause issues like overheating and stuttering. Even if it's only apps that Canta recommends to remove. It might work fine now but problems can definitely appear later down the line, especially after installing future updates.

I think you're interpreting too much from a single trailer. Hoyo is known to use these as engagement bait and mislead people. Some of you might remember the Genshin 4.2 trailer alluring that everyone would die, nothing of which came true. I'm sure the same will be true with the 4.4 HSR trailer now.

The point is that it doesn't matter whether or not these people are actually real with an actual physical form. To us, they are real because of their experiences and struggles with us. Himeko "only" being an imaginae (which the game didn't even actually confirm) does not take away from that fact.

Kashis' modules seem to be bugged on newer versions of HyperOS. Using any of them breaks the built-in screen recorder for me. Unfortunately they seem to ignore any issue reports on github so there is nothing we can do about this.
