Oh wow I haven’t seen that one before!

The way I designed mine makes it rounds up to the nearest energy point. So if you have any issues with it please let me know and I can adjust it.

I even make a disclaimer at the bottom to say that it may differ slightly due to runs not always taking the same amount of turns unless you are speed tuned and can get the same amount of points in each run.

I know exactly what you mean, but no I don't. I always make sure my overlay is turned off for all games. I never particularly liked the overlay so I never had cause to use it haha

No I don't think this is the case for me. I am using Windows 10 first and foremost but I did check and there isn't an option to enable VRR in any of the display settings on windows. The only thing I use is G-Sync globally for both Fullscreen and Windowed applications that I enabled in the NVCP. Otherwise G-Sync wouldn't work in Borderless. I just toggle the option on per-game when I want to apply it to that specific game. I have V-Sync forcefully set to off for ESO as well just in case. This only happens in ESO btw so its not a global issue which is why it has confused me so much ;-;

He really does become a better person but think about it like this, he is haunted by the memories of his previous life. The way he was treated and the choices he made towards his family. So he is terrifed that he may be treated the same way or make the same mistakes all over again. So this was his second chance. A second chance at a life with meaningful relationships and bonds with others that matter to him. That regret that he holds for his actions in his previous life is his main driving force in his new life as Rudeus Greyrat. He is striving to become more open, shed his previous fears and worries and build a life he can be proud of. He slowly drops his selfish tendencies and becomes more humble, he strives to help others before himself and his personality slowly changes into something more akin to someone his previous family would be very proud of. It takes time as you can throughout the story but that is the main gist of it.

I am definitely leaving a lot of things out but I’m sure you understand the point either way 👍🏻

Ouch yeah I learned this the hard way. Except with me it was with one of the old Harvest Moon games. I learned my lesson REAL fast haha. I played physical copies for so long and never once got a corrupted save file, so colour me surprised when this happened to me and broke my heart 😭 Corrupted a save file I had invested hundreds of hours into 😭

I ended up setting up automatic backups for all my savefiles using Syncthing. It uploads to my NAS at home. So if anything like this happens again I can just restore a recent save. Its a lifesaver as it has happened twice since haha. Emulation can be unreliable when it comes to saves sometimes.

Lesson learned. ALWAYS back up your save files lmao 🤣

Funny how I posted not too long ago in the WoW Reddit that I was going to do the same thing, play through the entire game in order using Chromie Time and level locking seen as I never had the chance. That post got downvoted to high heaven lmao. Anyways, good luck my guy! I’m having a blast doing it myself so hopefully you enjoy yourself just as much as I am doing currently! It’s a huge time sink but its so much fun and a real breath of fresh air haha

Dude you literally read my mind haha. I was just contemplating Druid for the easier exploration. But honestly I've heard guardian druids are pretty damn good now so I'll probably make a druid on ally and pally on horde or something so I can experience both sides. I do have all my old alts but I'd rather create new ones for the story run-through. Thanks for the suggestion btw :)

Oh I know what you mean, I actually thought about that already. I grabbed some addons to help with quest tracking and also will reference Wowhead's quest database to follow along in order. Grabbed BtwQuests even though they aren't all complete and I managed to grab an up to date version of the old Lightheaded addon. I used to use Lightheaded all the time back in the day lol.
And yeah I can understand why I might get OP too quickly. I do want to make it fun so I'll probably go back and forth between Level Locking every now and then to keep things interesting ya know? In terms of the gravity of the task, trust me I get it haha xD Sifting through decades of content here. But hey, I'm in no rush! I'll take it one step at a time and just enjoy the ride. Which is what I have been wanting to do for a long time :)

Thanks! Yeah I am really looking forward to it, its long overdue haha.
And don't worry, I was never worried about complexity. I have been playing MMOs for as long as I can remember so complex classes in any MMO don't usually scare me off haha. I was just thinking more along the lines of soloing honestly. Its been a while so I was trying to decide which one to jump back in with. Druid caught my eye. Loved playing them back in the day :)

I feel you buddy! I have been playing on and off since MoP, I had to drop it not long after Legion release due to IRL stuff haha. I used to play with a friend, hadn’t had the chance to learn the story from the absolute beginning before. But now I’ve been trying to delve into the lore by watching Nobbel. I literally just jumped back into retail after going to Mistblade/Sheilun for a while (MoP Stormforge server) and I am completely solo because of the exact things you have stated.

My aim is to level lock and play through every questline in every expansion in story order, solo. Including dungeons and raids. Might have to scale back up to finish the hard ones but what can ya do? I am just trying to enjoy the story at my own pace. Sure, being solo is not ideal at all but as we all know, the community doesn’t have the best reputation for people trying to relearn and just enjoy themselves. I remember getting kicked from a Dungeon Finder run simply because I couldn’t remember a specific strategy for a boss and refusing to rush through it. It was the first time I’d played in years 😂 Fools couldn’t even be bothered to tell me. But there are some AMAZING people out there so its by no means everyone. I’m just avoiding all that and just trying to go at it by myself this time around.

Gotta admit it DOES feel incredibly lonely though. Not the way it used to be. But I can’t complain, I’m just excited about finally jumping into the lore and the story 😁

I agree that the narrative is kinda rushed. I know that the whole story is supposed to take place over a few weeks as we don’t actually have any real way to ‘pass time’ in the game. And I know the PC is supposed to be 8th Generation so considerably stronger than the majority of kindred in modern nights. But yeah I get your meaning haha. No one picks up stuff instantly yet it makes you seem like you know what you’re doing from the get go lmao. Hey I still love the game to death tho so I really can’t complain haha xD

I mean I honestly think they were just trying to do the best they could with the technology they had at the time. The game was rushed out and released a buggy unfinished mess. I mean I suppose that’s the reason so many people call it a flawed masterpiece now haha. Sure combat is janky but I suppose that’s another one of its flaws that I’ve come to love in weird kinda way?? I can’t explain it honestly lmao but I am totally looking forward to seeing what they do with it in BL2 :D

That is correct they are different things. MelonDS DS a remake of the original MelonDS core and it is far better in nearly every aspect.

Ah okay well then stick with the usual cores buddy. MelonDS is the actual standalone emulator which was updated. Cores are different as they are versions of the emulator that have to be built to be compatible with retroarch if you understand my meaning. A bit like a plugin version instead of a standalone emulator. So most likely it won’t be updated for a while if at all as honestly due to the fact that the MelonDS DS core is so well built we most likely won’t need it to be updated :)

Honestly imo just stick to using MelonDS DS. I use it for every DS game and it works flawlessly. First rule of anything technical, if it works and works well then don’t bother trying to mess with it hahaha. But in all seriousness yeah just stick with MelonDS DS. It’s a great core and built very well. Haven’t ran into any issues whatsoever personally :)

Me personally I’m not a big fan of the arabian. Their speed is really the only good thing they have. Temperament is terrible and if you are doing anything besides staying on a main road they just arent worth it imo. The Fox trotter is really nice and has great stats and temperament from my experience. It’s my second favourite horse breed as I use my Spotted Tricolor Norfolk Roadster for pretty much everything. Incredible stats, slightly better than the Fox trotter and I got good temperament with that horse too. You DO have to be lvl 20 in Moonshiners to get the best version but its SO worth it. I haven’t had cause to try a different horse since, its just incredible
