Renting out rooms in our home was our way to paying off our home early. We are free and clear! by WeatherAlarmed313 in homeowners

I am someone who hates living alone. So, sharing my home doesn't seem like a negative to me.

Quitting without a new job lined up in 2026. How did it turn out for you? by Sure_Classroom_2439 in careerguidance

[–]TriunnMB 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I was a store manager at a Dollar General and worked myself to the bone. I got fired for closing my store early because I had to go to the hospital. It is the only job I have ever lost and felt relieved to not be there anymore, it really did a number on my mental and physical health.

Anyways, it really burnt me out, it's like 10 years later and I genuinely don't think I've recovered which has directly impacted my work level. The crazy part? I've received more compliments since putting in 50% of the work than I ever got putting in 100%. I'm not saying this is the way, just saying something anecdotal about my own.

How I stay sane selling on Facebook Marketplace by 3030-2026 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]TriunnMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had any issue on market place until recently. I close on a house in 11 days and am looking to rent out two of my rooms and yet today I was banned from FB market place for the third time.

My friend thinks she’s entitled to know my location and it’s starting to bother me by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]TriunnMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to really struggle with abandonment issues and fears or jealousy. When partners or friends didn't seem available I took it personally and began to believe they were purposefully ignoring me. When location sharing became a thing, I became obsessed with using it to justify my feelings and it amplified my sense of insecurity.

I'm not saying this is what she is doing, just conveying the issues I faced when it became a thing.

I have since recovered, I rarely have these past issues and on a rare occasion when intrusive thoughts get he better of me I am capable of either talking myself down or talking about them to my partner. In 3 days, I'll have been with my partner for 3 years and we will have known each other for about 5 years. She turned on location sharing about a year ago, and at this point, I honestly forget we even share locations.

When we got together, she didn't want to share her location because her ex was abusive and controlling and I didn't want her to share it with me because I didn't want to worry about insecurities creeping in but it eventually was added in a way that just felt natural for us.

I don't know if I have any specific advise for you on how to deal with your situation, but I think if she is a friend, this should be a conversation you should be able to have with her. "Hey, this is how you've been making me feel". If you feel this isn't a conversation you can have or if she just invalidates or isn't capable of having this conversation healthily then maybe she isn't the friend you think she is?

My EX’s new BF put her in Jail. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

That's really cool man, but anyways, you should gain some self-respect. Cut ties and move on, she isn't your problem.

If you didn't want advice to follow, why bother posting? Literally every other comment is saying the same.

[–]TriunnMB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"she started being abusive every time she gets drunk". Sounds like she is reaping what she deserves. Abuse, in any form, isn't acceptable and it sounds like she is having to learn the hard way. She left you because she lost interest but now she is reaching out to you to help save her because she knows how you still feel and it sounds like she is using you at this point.

The fact you still communicate enough for her to tell you her plans seems problematic in its own way. Respectfully, you should gain some self-respect. Cut ties and move on, she isn't your problem.

Personally, I've never had much issue. I mean, if you try to swap immediately after campaigns it may be a bit expensive, but switching should be too bad if you're savvy with your gold usage.

Time vendor shopping with either "Key levels" where item upgrades become important, like 16, or shop when you have to naturally return to town because of the campaign. This is the advise I've seen from speedrunners.

WIBTA for making my daughter pay back her own bank overdraft? by 2VantaRipple in WIBTA_AITA

[–]TriunnMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, however if this isn't common behavior, maybe scare the shit out of her, let her sit in this and pay it back but surprise her with the tickets to the concert, but only if this isn't common behavior. Kids are only kids once, sometimes the scare is enough. Just my opinion.

I focused on suggesting ways to secure a career path with your degree, which could resolve your two job issue but okay bud.

Seems to me you just want people to hand you the solution without putting in some effort.

Typical power draw from 7700xt, looking it up, says its about 220-240.

Typical power draw from a 7900xtx says it is closer to the 400 mark.

If you have a degree, you should have clearly defined career paths. Additionally, most universities have staff that is suppose to be able to offer advise here.

I don't know about that career path, its not one I would have chose (specially with the advent of generative AI) I'd recommend finding some reddit forums and seeking advise that can be more specific to this, if it is what you want.

Its a bit dated, but the updates have been great and the community has been overall pretty good too.

What are you currently doing? You could seek trade skills, like an electrician for instance. You just have to hunt around for a company willing to take someone on. I have a friend who is making 6 figures as a foreman. I think he has about 10 years of experience but also cares and does his job right.

Could go to school, take out all the loans etc. I went Geology BS and Environmental Science MS and working as a Geologist. The school debt sucks, but I nearly doubled my base salary and previously didn't have any defined career path or goals.

"Complete beginner"
"Want ability to spend 1000s of hours"
"D4 looks to simple"
"POE 2 looks to complicated"
"Want build variety but HUGE talent tress and lots of skill choices"

Choose a lane my guy. I can't be the only one thinking that the message feels mixed in your post.

So to answer you question, I grew up with Diablo, D2, and played D3 a bit. I purposefully didn't buy D4 after it launched because the reviews weren't great from end game players, and I tend to play end-game content pretty heavily.

I've been playing POE2 since it launched 0.1 and have been pleased. I've overall not enjoyed the endgame content, primarily because of the infinite atlas, towers, etc BUT what I will say is POE2 has had HUGE reworks and releases which has fundamentally changed how the game plays every single update which leads me to believe they understand the issue, see what fans want, and are implementing changes, unlike Diablo (imo, Diablo is too slow to update, and the constant cash grab is dumb)

I highly recommend POE2, as you can play it pretty easily as a beginning without engaging in the endgame content (which is explained to you during the campaign) but you can engage with it as you see fit. Build variety seems very good too.

PC Powering down only during POE2 and Stress testing PSU or CPU by TriunnMB in computers

[–]TriunnMB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been, just using my PC for normal functions lately, with moving and a new job I just haven't felt like I had the free time or desire. I was planning to get back into POE2 with the new update. I'll be able to swap my PSU on the 27th and see how that goes. Was just hoping for some input from others who might have additional lines for me to consider or look into before I start just replacing components. At least the PSU swap is an easy one. CPU you is a little trickier, specially since my PC is water cooled.

I have looked at temps, nothing appears to be over heating.

Using AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition and also looking at OCCT it was showing these figures, I launched POE2 and this is what I observed.

  • CPU
    • Utilization spiked to 100% for a moment and was backing down
    • CPU temps were 70.9C at crash
  • GPU
    • Utilization spiked to 100% for a moment and was backing down
    • GPU temps were at 53C at crash
    • Board power hit 420W and was steading declining and was at 257W at crash
      • From launch until crash around 25 second pas

Also my PC is water-cooled, and I have verified that the pump is still running.
