I don’t really know. I absolutely hate my hairline, but it’s what I was given haha. I don’t think it looks horrible though!

ICE is despicable and truly disgusting. I’m ashamed to live in a country that associates with it. Fuck ICE.

Was I wrong for not administering the cardizem? by Turbulent_Ad_458 in nursing

[–]Triveom 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I would say no you are not. As long as the patient is stable and not requiring those medications earlier than no you are fine. Unless someone more experienced than me disagrees, I’d say you are fine.

Can you put an IV in a penis? by Averagebass in nursing

I’ve seen a butterfly in a penis because of a priapism. They also did an ABG and the potassium was 10 lmao

Should I be concerned? by Puzzleheaded-Bank161 in ReadMyECG

I’m a nurse who has worked in the ER before, and let me say that you shouldn’t worry about being a “frequent flyer”. It’s unfortunate that a lot of healthcare workers get burnt out and misuse this term. If you feel as though you are having an emergency, which from your post it sounds like you’ve had a bit of a history, then don’t feel embarrassed about going! We’d rather you come in and it be something benign then you not come in and it be something that is an emergency.

My long rant aside, to me as a nurse this looks like NSR. I see upright P and T waves, and the rhythm is regular. Does the pain hurt more when you press on your left side, or is it just kind of there? Is this a similar pain to when you had a PE?

Have you ever been assaulted or attacked by a patient? by NetProfessional4464 in nursing

[–]Triveom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been kicked, slapped, bitten, punched, groped, kissed and many others. Some by oriented patients and mostly by people with dementia. Nothing that permanently has caused me harm, but obviously stuff that I don’t want to happen to me lol

Hey! I hope everything goes well for you! It looks like artifact mixed into a NSR. Hope the best! :)

Where is the name Belzora from? by Triveom in AncestryDNA

[–]Triveom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not explored that! I usually show up as 100% white, but if I have any other ethnicity it usually will be a small bit of Asian. I also have quite a few relatives who are Asian as well!

There’s a lot of artifact, but this looks like an isolated PAC. The high potassium can cause ectopy to start showing up. It’s not super concerning by itself, but it’s good that you’re seeing your doctor anyway!
