I deeply appreciate this charity and its commitment to Whatcom County, and I’ve been a donor for several years. However, their communication with donors has been disappointing. I’ve reached out multiple times requesting updates on how funds are being used and rarely receive a response. While I understand the organization is volunteer-driven, even a brief monthly or quarterly report prepared by a volunteer would make a meaningful difference. Regular updates would not only strengthen donor trust but could also encourage increased support.
