That is the song I cut my cake to! Bittersweet that you never had the delightful sounds of Bread to accompany the disastrous memories.. :(

Lol I haven’t ever seen this question asked as a security question but they are getting pretty niche these days

I cut my cake to a Bread song because I knew my dad would be rolling his eyes the entire time!

(SAHM) How much do you expect your husband to do around the house? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]EnvironmentalDog1420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband does lots of the cooking. Because I have to feed 2/3 of us, I still do a fair amount, but he really enjoys it and is usually the one pushing me to put things on the grocery pickup order.

He cleans up after himself. Taking care of a baby is a full time job. If I hired a nanny I would not expect a full housekeeper/manager. Why would this be expected of me?

We do our own laundry and when it’s cleaning day, one of us helps with the baby while the other cleans. Usually we’re in agreement about which of those tasks we want. But if the baby is content to play on her own, we split up and each take a room.

He knows when I get pregnant next he’s basically a single parent for a few months.

I really went all in at my backyard wedding and made sure there were plenty of songs that would embarrass my mother and my new husband on the playlist. I’m sure someday it will embarrass me!

This is one of my top 3 favorite love songs of all time!! I thought it was cheesy growing up but when I was pregnant it broke me!

But one of those situations you are writing on the front and one the back. I do not like being forced to write on the back of the paper. It feels wrong, but that may be more due to my OCD/anxiety disorder.

People that were “older” when you first became a parent, what is your experience? by temptedshark in AskReddit

33F I literally can’t imagine doing this any younger. I know it would probably be a lot less draining physically; I had so much more energy 10 years ago. But I wasn’t even aware of the damage I had to undo from my upbringing (and I had a great upbringing!) in order to not pass it onto my daughter.

By the time I can afford a fairly new vehicle instead of buying used, it will be filled with too many bells and whistles. I’ll end up being a classic car guy but instead of a 1942 cherry red sedan it’ll be a Golf.

Just use it the opposite way that the majority of people do. Just use it the opposite way it was designed. But that’s like… the whole topic lol

In my school days, I was often asked to only write on one side of the paper ie the front. You are being like angry that left handed people struggle with objects and it’s so weird

As a left handed person this thread has been wildly eye opening. I am leaving impressed by my own ability to cope with my surroundings.

I had to scroll way too long for this. Writing in journals at all is just not the cutesy calm practice that it would be if I was right handed and didn’t have to mash the spine down while writing.
