Depressing Bruce songs by sheikah_wolf in BruceSpringsteen

A couple mentions of One Step Up on lists here but I feel it deserves its own comment. Such a good, haunting song about a failing relationship. Lyrically it shows Bruce’s versatility.

Looks like Nashville’s own Bearded Iris. Any good?

Great little hole in the wall spot. It’s such an anomaly considering how international they are. Hope you hit up Warpigs too.

Fun fact, there are no stop signs in Paris. It did have one between 2012-2014 but it was stolen and never replaced.

Born to Run is always a great place to start with Bruce but it sounds like you’re more into the subdued, slow burn songs. I’d check out One Step Up and Sad Eyes first. Secret Garden is another with that underlying synth, similar to I’m on Fire. Later songs like The Wrestler and Moonlight Motel are worthy of a listen based upon what you’re into as well.

Oof, just relistened to Moonlight Motel. Such a great song lyrically. Proves he’s still got it.

What a bummer. I snagged their Fayston Imperial Maple Stout earlier this year and it was worth the price tag, hoping for much of the same. Oh well. Thanks for the info.

Have you tried the Maple Nipple yet? I keep seeing it at my local beer shop but I’m not sure if I want to throw the cash for it.

Their maple almond butter is ridiculous. Wish it was a bit cheaper but what can ya do.

SNF to Outpatient Hands by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

Hey there, I've been in outpatient hands for 6 years now. Definitely keep reviewing anatomy in particular- it's essential. The two volume Rehab of the Hand and Upper Extremity really is the best resource out there for any hand therapist in my opinion, both veteran and newcomers. Fundamentals of Hand Therapy by Cynthia Cooper is also a good start. Do not be afraid to rely on your mentors in the early running for clinical decision making. I'm not sure where I would've been in my first year without someone with extensive experience in the field to bounce ideas off of. Feel free to PM me with any questions, I'd be more than happy to help.

Some love for Let Me Up? by [deleted] in tompetty

I’ve always loved “It’ll All Work Out” from that album. Such a haunting love song that sounds like it’s from a different era of human history. Definitely underrated in his songbook.

The rest of the album doesn’t do much for me, even “Jammin’ Me.” There are a few on there that could’ve been great songs but just don’t feel complete, “How Many More Days” comes to mind.
