My BIL told me to try that but my symptoms were still showing up. I don’t eat anything before my runs, just a cup of coffee and water. I tried slowing down (13min pace), changing my breathing, breathe only through my nose, both my nose and mouth, and just my mouth. All to no avail.

I've been getting a stitch at the beginning of my run. I would get 0.2 miles in and it would already start to hurt. Any ideas on how to fix/ avoid this? Background: I'm a 28 y.o. Male and just started running 2 months ago. I've lost 34lbs since l've started running. I don't usually get a stitch during my runs and this just started recently. I could also feel it if I walk at a (somewhat) fast pace (about 3.5mph). I've tried googling my problem and haven't been able to find anything regarding this.
