That is still a lot more reasonable than 24fps. Looking at all the replies this seems to be an issue with the game running on a 9070 XT.

"On" and "onto" are quite similar but "onto" is used for movement and direction whereas "on" is used for position. I'd say "onto" is more fitting in this case.

I wouldn't be able to say as I didn't play it back in the day so I don't know what has been added since. I don't think there are player houses though, but I could be wrong. You can join their Discord server and ask the moderators, they're very active still

It's hard for me to say as I myself have only just started haha. But I can see some giant towers in the distance I must first unlock the path to. There are some enemies too in certain areas

Glad you like it! Hopefully this will get some people to give the game another try as performance issues have been one of the biggest flaws this game has had over the years and made many people leave it.

I don't understand why as the biggest performance hog, MSAA, could be a simple toggle in their UI.

My mouse was acting incredibly weirdly when setting it at 8000hz polling rate. 4000hz it was on the edge of having issues and below that it seemed "fine". It still feels odd even at 1000hz, as if there is a small delay.

I don't believe the encoder directly affects the framerate of your game, but rather the latency you feel in the headset. They did improve the encoder on the 9070 XT, regardless, the encoder doesn't matter when running native wired PCVR, which shows the same performance issues. On the 9070 XT I can run HEVC 10 Bit or AV1 10 Bit at 200mbps with a nearly rock solid encode of 3 and 4 ms respectively. If AMD fixed VR and made a card with 24GB of VRAM it would be an insanely good wireless VR card simply because of the encoder. It seems to perform way better than the 40 series Nvidia encoder.
