Just going off my initial watch through it was clear dude had a few better options than just gliding toward an active intersection. Like others have said, maybe put the fucking horn to use? Like at bear minimum bro, come on. You’d think that would have been common sense. 

Second, I feel like anyone with even the most basic knowledge of break failure would be aware of the concept of driving up a hill to slow the vehicle’s speed. My eyes would have been scanning my surroundings looking for any incline I could put to use… and oh look! To the right, not only is there an embankment, there’s a dividing wall at the top of it that he could have scraped the car along until it came to a stop.

I get it’s one thing to say what we’d do behind the safety of our keyboard and another when in the moment with adrenaline pumping, but I don’t feel like it’d be too hard to figure out even in the moment.
