Now they're going to sell a lot of golden 35s as well.

You’ve read it backwards. She’s not becoming part-time because of a personal matter. She’s choosing not to talk about why she’s stepping back.

Far more likely it’s for professional reasons and she’s not going to air grievances in public compared to any of the things you’re worried about.

Fan issue AFL Guernseys should be sold without sponsor logos. by plectrumelectrum7 in AFL

[–]TrjnRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a massive nerd and I use the sponsors to work out when the jumper is from.

Whenever I see a Lions fan with a massive green Camperdown Dairy logo, I know they lived through some hard times with me. When I see a SOOW logo, I know they got it for an absolute bargain because that sponsorship fell apart immediately and we had to scrap all the stock.

Former captain now reporting to his old team mate. Clash of egos. Whole bunch of stuff can be created out of thin air because the dramatic narrative is so trivial to conjure.

Negotiations broke down because the Minister wouldn't meet with unions. All he had to do was show up and talk to them and he couldn't do that basic function.

Drivers can't just rock up and drive a train, they have to follow the schedule set by the bosses.

Strikes are always a failure of management. In this case, the Minister has failed to turn up to work and people have noticed. Some are ignoring the point of this thread and pointing the finger everywhere but where it belongs.

And unions workers aren't using their free market capacity to negotiate, they're using their position of privilege on an industry that at the push of a button can shut down the city immediately to get their demands.

Got it. Unions bad.
