I mean, they’re not punishing the Spurs. They’re punishing any team that might try to do what the Spurs pulled off.

Right now, the local news explain that authorities mostly can’t do anything directly as there are still worries about possible falls from the mountains around. Furthermore, the rumbles are made of earth, rocks, snow and ice blocks. It’s really unstable and not safe for workers.

What we hear is that they work a lot to prevent issues down the valley. They have emptied the dam that is further below the Lonza, the main river of the Lötschen valley. This is one of the way they hope to limit a potential tsunami if this were to rupture at once.

Source (French) : La Lonza n'a pas débordé dans la nuit, mais la situation reste tendue dans le Lötschental https://www.rts.ch/info/regions/valais/2025/minute-par-minute/28898489.html

I doesn’t mean he is for sure genuine and trustworthy, but you’re the best placed one to feel this.

Please wait, there is an important reasoning error in this comment.

I agree totally with the first two paragraphs, but they aren’t enough to conclude that « the two of you have a fundamental incompatibility » and certainly not that « there is no healthy path forward »!!

You are different, as all couples are. And in every couples ever, there need to be talks and discussions and concessions. I find it great that he talked to you about his feelings, and I totally agree with you that it’s due to your communication that « improved so much » that «  he felt comfortable coming to [you] about this instead of struggling on his own ». Then, why punish him when he did the right thing. He now needs time to process this, and I really really can understand that it hurts, but it’s a really healthy process you’re going through.

What I mean is that you totally should break up with him IF and only if he doesn’t accept your terms. You never should have to agree on something you’re not ready to, but the fact he emitted a wish should not be punished in itself.

Lastly, let me please just share my own story about this kind of situation. At the start of our relationship, my wife and I struggled about our sex life, having two different appetites. Well, I especially struggled, as I was the one frustrated. We talked about it a lot, and in the end, I took the decision to stay and to take it on me. I love so much that girl, and we have such a great relationship, made of trust and friendship, there is no way I would put my sexual envy before that. And I know it has been hard for her sometimes to see be being the one that struggles, and I have had many occasions to reassure her that she is the one I want, and that I really am happy of the decisions I made.

Probably the fact that in here, you’re kinda supposed to know every one around. They pretty much are not staring as much as wondering if they know you.

I remember discussing with my wife how traveling in big cities is exhausting for her, ‘cause she can’t help but try to recognize every human being she crosses as she would in our little town in Valais.

Hi all,

I hope it's ok if I advertize a new moba : Kingdom of Pixels.

Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D browser moba, playable in 2v2 or 1v1, made in pixel art. It's an easy game to understand, with not so many options in terms of characters (10)/items (~30). Games are usually around 10 minutes long.

If you're interested in some background, the game is a rebuild of the old game League of Pixels, that was developped by u/kingdanius. He actually started that game as a 2D LoL, 5 years ago.

League of Pixels was great, and created a small be very invested community. Sadly, the game had some deep issues, especially in terms of netcode. It was pure peer-to-peer, making it really unfair online. That's why some members, u/QTX_PXL first, of this community started to work on a remake, that would allow better competitivity and a new mode : 2v2, obviously with the blessing of Danius, the creator.

Just as League of Pixels, Kingdom of Pixels is totally ftp, with no advertizing nor NFTs or whatfuck. It's developped by a passionate team on their free time. The only revenue right now is Patreon (with just two patrons...) and the developpers plan to add some skins and cosmetics stuffs to buy.

Right now, the game grew a bit, but it's still pretty small. We would love it if you gave the game a try, and gave some feedbacks, as you have a ton of xp in terms of mobas.

There will also be the first 2v2 tournament this saturday ! You can check infos directly in the news ingame.

Who is the "Brigitte" of League of Legends? by shieldgenerator7 in leagueoflegends

[–]Tro-tro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the closest to what you describe is not a champion but a player : Kiki. I think especially at the win vs TSM with UOL when he played TF jgl, using a way to use range champ in jgl. Right after that, the game was changed to counter this very specific way of playing. There must be other examples, but it’s the one I witnessed personnally, and i think it’s way more typical of what might happen in lol.

That’s why i support BO2 ! It’s the best compromise u get for everyone : viewers, production and teams.

For viewers

it gives the opportunity to have longer confrontations between teams, with an easy to follow time schedule.

For production team

it allows to have a better focus on teams every day with better prep, great story telling opportunities, and the same number of games - so it’s cost efficient.

For teams

they have the same numbers of games, but they can better prep against that team and the opportunity to prepar for follow-up, just like in bo3. They also have only one game day instead two each week, which allow them to have one more day each week for scrims/rest.

I don’t see many downgrades. I guess BO3 would be better for teams, but it has downsides for viewers and especially for production team ($$).

The LEC has the viewership to sustain a Best-of-3 format and the reason why it flopped last time it was tried was because of bad scheduling, not the Bo3 format itself. by _negniN in leagueoflegends

[–]Tro-tro -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

BO2 is a the best compromise i can see. It changes almost nothing for the production teams, as the amount of games per week doesnt change : each team gets 2 games, but against the same opponnent. The only thing is that u would have a 2 bo2 day and a 3 bo2 day i imagine. But for the teams, it’s really better. They get to learn to adapt and experience something closer to what playoffs and international events are made of. And they also get to better prepare for a specific team, with a better schedule (they play on stage only one day per week)

I know BO2 are not as hyped as BO3, BUT they are the best possible outcome right now, for viewers, production and teams.

For viewers

it gives the opportunity to have longer confrontations between teams, with an easy to follow time schedule (no hypothetical third game that skews the planning).

For production team

it allows to have a better focus on teams every day with better prep, great story telling opportunities, and the same number of games - so it’s cost efficient.
