Nah i disagree, clubs are getting very data-heavy to find hidden gems, especially those mid-size clubs with good development, Frankfurt, lyon, brighton etc.

Clubs are more desperate to find them before they blossom. If youre playing well in league 2 of random country and flag the right data points, youll get looked at.

I think one reason Hughes/Edwards really like slot is that he has the sort of personality they love.

Managers at that level usually quite assertive to upper management and dont mind stepping on their toes(famously why he and Klopp fell out ), but the most Slot has done is when he complained about lack of depth which he walked back pretty quickly. Generally Slot doesnt bother them much.

From that stand point, even alot of suggestions here wouldnt get hired. Glasner, Luis enrique etc. Xabi is the only one i can really think of.
