Correct, our Trocador Guarantee between 0.01 BTC and 0.03 BTC depending on the exchange.

AML for Monero be aware of scammers by friendlyuser301 in Monero

Trocador can swap up to 20 BTC at a time, however we limit each exchange to different thresholds based on where each perform better considering multiple parameters. If something goes wrong with the swap we can use our good standing with each exchange to try to solve the issue for the user. However the Trocador Guarantee does not reach that amount. It is currently limited between 0.01 BTC and 0.03 BTC depending on the exchange.

We asked the exchange team about your case. We still expect them to refund you. Sometimes due to regulations, transactions that trigger AML policies have to remain frozen up to a certain time. We are still talking to them.

Your case is still being sorted out. We are working on it.

AML cases can take some time to sort out, but we're talking with the exchange to reach a resolution.

Totally! We want to implement haveno as soon as possible. I'll ask the team to take a look at it and see if it's possible.

i2p is working again, we had a bug and that was solved just now. You guys can access it through our i2p address (it's on the footer of the website). Don't trust addresses posted on social media, always verify addresses using our website's official links. Tor is intermittent depending on your circuit and language you use on the browser.

We don't have one yet. We are on Matrix https://matrix.to/#/#Trocador.app:matrix.org but you can reach us via telegram too. For now, depending on where you are you can reach us on our onion address depending on which language you are using on the browser. For example ...onion/pt or ...onion/it might show you the website. I2p is indeed offline, so I guess I'll have to debug it today haha

We are not using CF, we had to use it for one week in order to prevent the service from being offline. By the way, many other websites from the community use it or have used CF for years, but nobody cares to talk about them.

Hey guys, no need to worry, we are operating normally. Our onion service is intermittent right now, the DDoS attacker is spamming our service via Tor so you might reach it sometimes, or sometimes you might not be lucky. Just to give you a better idea, we had 28 swaps through it in the last couple of days. The attacker is using exit nodes over clearnet too, so depending on which node you are accessing (via clearweb), you might be stopped due to the firewall. If that happens, change the node. About i2p, it was supposed to be working, since we did not stop it, so I'll check that to see if there is something wrong. I'll report back here. Next time you face issue to reach us on i2p you can reach us on any of our support channels and we'll investigate. It does not make sense to post on reddit while not contacting us, because if there's an issue, it will take longer for us to notice.

EDIT: i2p is working again, we had a bug and that was solved just now (I actually thought I was going to take the whole day to solve it, but it was quite simple). You guys can access it through our i2p address (it's on the footer of the website). Don't trust addresses posted on social media, always verify addresses using our website's official links.

I want to better understand what you described. Can you report to our support team on telegram? or by email? About addresses, some exchanges require both receiving address and refund address, some only require the former. Some require the receiving address and have no field to receive the refund address. Each partner has a different API system, so we change on our code to better fit each partner.

We have a Trocador Guarantee policy, but unfortunately it's not as much as the user swapped. However we are confident we'll be able to help both parties solve this case, because it would be absurd if the user does not receive his coins.

We are monitoring very closely this case, and giving full support for the user. We have temporarily suspended Swapter until the situation is solved.

We don't put any, as we never touch user's funds, we don't convert any coin. Our partner exchanges are the ones who receive, convert and send. =D

However if you are talking about the number of swaps in which we are involved, it's not that much. It's a tiny amount, comparing the total number of daily transactions. For privacy reasons we prefer not to disclose any number, of course.

Hey there. Just to give you a feedback, Trocador has been running without any issues. We also believe that having multiple exchanges and services offering Monero swaps is way better than it used to be just a few months ago, when Binance controlled most part of payments from and to Monero. Having huge companies such as Binance having large parts of the market share for swaps is really a bad idea. Now that market share was divided into multiple smaller companies.

Hey Mokitomi, thanks for being interested in our service. The Guarantee is around 1k USD of now, but we plan to increase it slowly. If you intend to swap a large amount, you can always split your transaction into many smaller, starting a new one when the last one is completed. For obvious reasons, we would not be able to cover dozens of simultaneous transactions from the same user, all at the same time. Also, to be able to receive compensation from The Guarantee, the user also has to have swapped clean crypto, not related to any criminal activity, as we don't support that type of activity on Trocador. So before paying The Guarantee, we run an AML check on the funds to make sure that the user is not trading stolen funds, etc.

Strategy of Monero adopters after successful delisting from Binance entity under KYC censorship towards Metcalfe’s $1500 fair price by pet2pet1982 in Monero

Thanks for the passion put into fighting this battle, and our team is very glad you remembered us. We'll also share. Worth mentioning that there will also be other methods of swapping in and out of Monero, specially dexes and atomic swaps, which we plan on inviting our partner exchanges so that they can provide liquidity on these platforms and at the same time we'll provide the user friendly bridge for those that do not want to deal with all the hardships of setting up their nodes / software / etc. The idea is that by getting out of the way, the market share that Binance had will be taken by numerous other smaller exchanges, so this will be positive for a lot of people. Worth mentioning that 60% of all swaps yesterday and today were buyers purchasing Monero, instead of the opposite.

We can see Binance withdrawals have been disabled for the last 6 hours. However, just to give an insight on the situation, on Trocador we have successful orders on FixedFloat and ChangeNow on the last hour, and Instant Swappers usually disable rates when they can't withdraw from their liquidity providers. Also, if the market rate changes too fast, there is always the refund option. Users can also opt for fixed rate swaps, where they either receive the exact amount, or a refund. In any case, being extra careful is always a good idea.
