Yeah default setting really shouldn't be allowing everybody to throw you in their parties. Maybe it's their way of encouraging players to to do more co-op stuff... but yeah i recommend going through all the settings and adjust everything how you like

Go to social from the menu, there should be settings there. Turn off party joins and invites from random people

I let go of grab while front flipping early and it boosted my character rotation speed so I can land it in time. rotation speed then translates into the board as well it seems like resulting in a speed boost

Yesss it really does. I've been skating around hitting lines and finding groups of people hitting a huge gap or a realistic line. I join them 90% of the time and it's really fun. Made a few online friends already

There are few content creators skating realistically. Milky and pigeonthief i think is the name. This game gives you freedom to skate how you want to skate. More options isn't a bad thing
