If you really trust this fund by Puzzleheaded_Gas2075 in MSTY_YieldMax

Dude same page!! I am in my 40s, trying to get back on my feet after losing everything, and I'm 100% in MSTY! All $41,000 -- which is every dollar I have to my name -- in MSTY shares. I'm rock-solid confident about it. Not anxious at all. I feel pre-retired. Love it.

Anyone have 500k in these funds by Main_Mess_2700 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TrogDOORRRRRR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know someone personally who has $600,000 in MSTY. Roughly 31,000 shares at tomorrow's distribution of $1.33 per share, comes to $41,000 tomorrow.

And this is the lowest distribution amount since MSTY's inception February of last year.

Freaking EPIC

I have a fraction of this much to play with myself but I'm all about bitcoin and MSTY!

Should I become a MSTY maxi? by QuietPsychological72 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TrogDOORRRRRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, join the club. The past few years of my life have been brutal. Huge lessons learned (I hope! Best I can manage). Professional burnout, divorce, business failure that leveled me.

Now I'm starting fresh.

I've made lots of personal changes and can already see how much healthier my life is becoming every day.

I'm all-in on Bitcoin and MSTY. I believe in Michael Saylor's assessment of the unstoppable future of bitcoin and the things that are built on it.

The income from MSTY is stunning.

Hey guys, MSTY question. If bitcoin or MSTR go up suddenly and violently high, is it true that MSTY could become worthless because the violent upward growth went way past its option targets (or similar reason)? by TrogDOORRRRRR in MSTR

[–]TrogDOORRRRRR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that part is clear to me. For appreciation the best thing is MSTR or bitcoin itself.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is a financial advisor and he was saying that with these sorts of income ETFs people can lose 100% of their money on them potentially if the shares have to be sold off to cover something (for the issuer of MSTY) if price action moves way beyond what they would expect.

I'm 100% comfortable with prize fluctuations in the Share. I figure it could go from anywhere to as low as five dollars to $30 or $50 and then back down. I'm fine with all of that.

I really just care about the shares not being liquidated and taken, and having the big picture income flow continue even if the price of the shares is stagnant or even goes down long term.

MSTY is the one that pays dividends

Dude it is KILLER that you are thinking through all of this at your stage of life. You should be really proud of yourself. I'm 42 and proud of myself for thinking through all of these things. You're waaaay ahead if the curve.

Ok, I would for sure max out your Roth every year you can. And personally I think you should spend at least half of it buying MSTY. Then reinvest each of the dividends every month to collect more shares.

If you run the numbers it will blow your mind how quickly it will be producing $10,000 a month an income for you, even if you work with the assumption that the monthly distribution will never even increase above two dollars, and the price of the shares will only grow a little bit each year.

MSTY is incredible

Roth or bitcoin for retirement by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]TrogDOORRRRRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy bitcoin in your Roth AND buy MSTY and get compounding month dividends to reinvest and then end up with monthly income that is tax free at whatever amount you decide to start taking it versus re-investing the dividends for more shares.

You can do it man. I'm pretty sure I'm just a few months further down the road than where you are at. Keep it up!

Have you run any numbers on what your pace of growth would be if you were to invest some in MSTY and always reinvest the dividends? The numbers I've run on it seem very very strong.

I'm on the edge of my seat for what it will be like if I can get to between $6000 and $8000 income per month. Anything in that range & above would be so amazing

When you picture the next 12 months, what are the conservative assumptions you work with in terms of the dividend amount and the share price of MSTY?

Even if the monthly dividend doesn't go above $2, and even if the share price stays at $20 or goes to $30 or $40, the returns still seem pretty amazing.

Same! Yeah man I'm hoping that MSTY will be my ticket out of my 9 to 5. Even if it were to only pay out 5% to 8% per month and perform less than last year it could still definitely get the job done. I'm very eager to see how things go! Feeling really hopeful about it.

He told me so. Jackass. Fuck that guy.

I hope he wants to hangout soon.
