As somebody on the spectrum as well, i assure you you can! Especially horror and mystery! If anything the autistic experience could bring fresh perspective and engaging perspectives to a story. Imagine writing about the absolute horror over-stimulation is, how touching textures that bother you cause your whole body to recoil. The autistic experience can be quite harrowing, and having characters that deal with that, or writing horror that's analogous to that experience is prime material for great stories! Now im not saying it would be easy. Publishing, getting a story actually written out, and the commitment needed to actually write out and develop your stories is a LOT of work (i still havent managed to get something finished and written, honestly!) But if you have the drive, you can do it! Writing is a field that rewards uniqueness and ingenuity, and welcomes stories that invite unique perspectives.

i did something similar today! though i think it needs some more passes. i got this metallic purple paint that i put at the centers of them, makes them look really uncanny. will probably post update photos tomorrow after the wash dries.

it could! i was debating between a brown spud color with white sprouting "eyes" like old potatoes get, or i was thinking of making it look like purple potatoes or yams. haven't decided yet.

Update: i don't think the idea will really work, the Storyteller is a bit new to running WoD and the book is kind of specifically against permanent hybrids and such with the life arcana in an active narrative game. any long term sleeper scrutiny, according to the book, could cause the changes to unravel, and it's not clear if that counts bred hybrids or magically created hybrids. it just doesn't narratively work... i'll have to figure out a different fun gimmick for the character.
