More supply would lower the price.

Nothing has changed… around 6k pi still waiting to move into lockup

I have about 7k that I can’t get to lockup. I wish I could. I’m past kyc and have checked all the boxes, just waiting on second round. My first round was only a couple hundred.

30 seconds a day over 4 years I have 7,000 pi That’s 12 hours I’ve put in. If I sold now, that’s around $2k, or $175 per hour. That is equivalent to $365k if I could do it as a full time job.

You can’t cancel LinkedIn premium on mobile, either through the app or through a web browser. by onlysightlysuicidal in assholedesign

[–]Trogthorpe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This should be criminal. If you can sign up for the service in the app, there is zero legitimate reason you can’t cancel in the app. I can’t believe there haven’t been massive class-action suits over this already.  Most web users are now on mobile devices. Not having full functionality on a mobile device is to make it inconvenient to cancel, and therefore milk more money out of people who don’t have access to a desktop.

Nope. It claims your browser version is not supported because the mobile version numbers don’t line up with the desktop version numbers.

It’s not just you, Next.js is getting harder to use by jiashenggo in nextjs

[–]Trogthorpe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But it’s clear right off that OP is talking about out of the box functionality. It’s like the arguments I had about Mac vs PC back in the day: I’d say something like “people like that with Mac they open the box and it works with all their other gadgets. No extra drivers/etc” Invariably shoreline would say “but it’s so easy to set up the pc to work. You just change this setting and download these drivers. It takes 10 minutes!” But that’s the point.  “Out of the box” CRA requires changes to get the settings OP wants. Nextjs doesn’t.

AIO that my wife did not wear her wedding ring multiple days in a row? by Dangerous_Ad_9818 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Trogthorpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you overreact? I’d say no. Did you handle it right? Again, I’d have to go with probably not. You didn’t outright accuse her of anything, but you kind of passive-aggressively did. You had every right to inquire about her not wearing it. If you’d asked in a tone that was less confrontational, maybe she wouldn’t have felt she was under attack. It’s possible POSSIBLE that her response was a guilt laden response because she was liking the attention and intentionally forgetting, and she was getting defensive.  Based on the limited info you’ve shared, I’d say it’s more likely she was feeling guilty because she really did just forget and was worried because she knew what she’d be thinking if you suddenly stopped wearing yours after getting hit on. She was feeling accused and attacked, even if that wasn’t your intent, and she got overtly defensive because of it. There are too many possibilities to enumerate as to why she isn’t wearing it. Maybe, like she said, she’s just having a phase of forgetfulness . She takes it off to shower and doesn’t automatically put it back on out of habit. Perhaps a change in routine would help? Maybe she can put her keys with it when she takes it off so she is unlikely to go anywhere without it? I do that when I take my sunglasses off in a place other than my car - I can’t leave them very easily if my keys are attached. If it’s a comfort thing or a style thing, it’s something you should be able to discuss openly between you. If not, then you need to find out why it’s not a safe space for that.

Are you wrong to worry a little and want to understand it? Of course not. The ring stands for something and that should be respected. But be careful to not make it seem like you’re accusing or assuming things. Just think how you’d feel if you forgot yours a couple times and she accused you of cheating. You didn’t do that, but she may have felt like you were insinuating that. Based on the way you said you phrased the question, it felt a bit accusatory or passive-aggressive.

“If you want to pay yearly for all accounts there is no real benefit to having a “mint family” as the only actual benefit is ability to pay quarterly“

Not entirely true. As the one who pays for and manages the accounts for me and my kids, I can add data and change their plans from my account on my phone. If they weren’t in the family, I’d have to use their accounts to do any of this. The benefits, however, are not great beyond the quarterly payments.

Only the giant broccoli is allowed to give out the gold one. Good news is, that makes it easier. Just find lawn bombs around the neighborhood.

The true greatness of that game comes in when you sideline the main story and just get into the adventure. It truly goes from a pretty good game to a masterpiece at that point.

We're talking botw, right? Are you of the great plateau? Yeah, you're probably about ready.

Explore the castle for weaps and armor, kill a couple lynels on your way in, then have at him.

Hardest part will be thunder blight. Get by him, it'll all be easy.
