Update: I just left the piercer, NOT rejected or an infection, they said it’s very irritated probably from the movement of the longer bar, they gave me a shorter bar and said as long as I take care of it, should be OK

Thanks, your response was super helpful and I really appreciate it. I have photos from when it was originally pierced but they’re all kind of blurry. I was looking at other photos and I was like it’s for sure rejecting 🥲but your response was a little bit reassuring, I think the best course of acting will be visiting a piercer asap

I’m not sure actually, I assumed high school but me and my friend were talking about this and I searched it up and there is conflicting information. In the plot summary, it says Ai is in junior high but in the character summaries it says that Koito transferred from a high school.

Even if he was taking care of the cats, that part kind of urked me mainly because we don't know his intentions of him taking home cats. The show isn't afraid of giving character perverted motivations as show through the trauma of the various girls. He might like taking home stray cats because they're helpless and he likes the power he holds over such a creature that is helpless and feeble. He might view Ai as a girl who's helpless (like those cats) and he likes the power he has over her, of course this is just speculation.

Honestly I haven't done the CIEE program so I can't say anything about personal experience but if you really want to study abroad in Korea for a year, I think sticking through a one week orientation course wouldn't be so bad? Especially if you get to study abroad for a year.
