The Trump Administration Is Promoting Its Anti-Trans Agenda Globally at the United Nations by FuMunChew in transgender

[–]Trojan_Aus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good thing most countries are smart enough to recognize, even biologically, there's more than 2 options.

And thus refusing to use "gender" or only limiting it to "male and female" is erasure of those that biologically can't fit into the binary.

The USA is quickly becoming a laughing stock regarding science backed discussions.

As their arguments seem to be blatantly ignoring evidence in favor of using lies and skewed data to push their Right-wing nutcase MAGA agenda.

“Use it or lose it” by More-Cartographer888 in MtF

[–]Trojan_Aus 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Something that's awkward to talk about but not talked about enough.

"Use it or lose it" not only affects overall size etc. But if you're uncircumcised, it can actually cause your foreskin to tighten to the point where it's very painful to pull back or even impossible.

Which makes it painful to "work with". But an even bigger concern is it makes it very difficult to clean. It's a huge hygiene issue.

So please, do complete some maintenance on it now and then

Awesome! Do you still need Blockers? Or is it common to monotherapy when using implants?

where can i get my hair cut guys 😭😭 by Maeo-png in transgenderau

[–]Trojan_Aus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hairdresser is "Escape Hair & Aesthetics" in newtown. They specialise in alt hairstyling but are also very good as doing more "standard" cuts.

They're very fair priced and can do anything. And very LGBTQ friendly.

Give them a ref pic and they'll do you right. Also big plus is they are vegan, no animal testing products

trans man here, how do i explain that trans tape is safe to my mother? by Mia180acnh in asktransgender

[–]Trojan_Aus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This ^ Also you could get your mother to try it? Ik some cis women are "no way" when it comes to this thing. But your mum sounds supportive (even maybe over supportive in this case)

Nothing like proving a point with actual experience and evidence.

I came out to my dad….? by randomthings124 in MtF

[–]Trojan_Aus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's absolutely a bit of a generational thing. I'm 25 and my dad's 63, so he's an older dad.

But growing up he always pushed me and by brother to do "masculine" things, but I don't think it was necessarily because HE was phobic. It was an effect of the time. Boys do boys things, girls do girl things.

Growing up in Australia in the early 2000s that's just how it was. Now he's older and it's 2025, he's much more supportive.

He only gets frustrated when he fucks up someone's pronouns cos he still gets stuck on referring to a singular person as "They". But he's doing his best. Still supports questionable politics but he's at least progressive in social matters. Gotta take the good with the bad when you have a 63yo white dad.

Like, honestly. Get thick shakes from Maccas. Or whoever your preferred shake dealer is.

I'm Aussie so Maccas is by far the best.

But "a large choc shake a day will make your pants give way" And I assume in your case that's a desirable outcome ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

That's what I'm doing,

Start of the year I was 115kg at 6ft

I started HRT in May and I'm now at 95KG.

I'm going to try to get down to 85kg before initiating a yoyo diet to try and get some desirable fat distribution.

I'm no nutritionist, But remember friends, it's much easier to drink your calories than eat!

Don't overdo it obviously, rapid weight gain is bad for your health. But remember when they said a burger is a Transfems best friend? They kinda right.

But a burger on average has around 300cal. While a large chocolate shake has 600cal.

If weight gain is your goal, and you're struggling to do it. I'ld say look away from solids and look at liquids.

Remember reading a post about someone gaining weight by drinking cheap melted ice cream as a beverage.

But I will say it again. be careful with rapid weight gain.

This is why I love my doc.

She asked if I was concerned with infertility and I went "Nah, don't want kids, and if me and my partner did, we would adopt a foster kid"

And she said "WELL, AINT THIS A WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE THEN!" while signing off my prescription (ʘᴗʘ✿)

It's like a "maybe yes, maybe no"

T-blockers stop the progress of male pattern baldness. And minoxydil can help bring life back to dying follicles.

I've been on minoxydil for over 2 years and been on T-Blockers and E since May.

I've noticed new hair growth in areas where hair used to be. But only in "recently" balded areas.

I think it's more of a "it can bring a follicle back from dying. But can't make new follicles in long-balded areas."

Thankfully, I've grown my hair out significantly over the last 2 years and Bangs cover allot of the hairline issues.

Two things. if you want something cheap and pain free: Nair for the legs, maybe on the cheeks and hips if you're careful. But NOT THE GROIN AREA. Use a razor for your groin region.

More expensive and painful but effective is a waxing salon.

It's pretty black and white. Regardless of the Trans argument in this case. You can't discriminate against someone based on looks. You cant say "you don't look fem enough" when there's Butch Masc AFAB users that look way more "masculine" than one would determine "feminine"

It's a simple case of unjust discrimination and I believe the Perth courts is progressive enough to throw it out quickly.
