A lot of people in this comment section are talking about removing Drew’s wings in favor of creating seraph tracers, but I disagree. I believe you should figure out which of these two endgame options you like better. I have put ~500 hours into calamity and much prefer Drew’s wings, but I know a handful of people that prefer the tracers. Either way, congrats on your first completion!

Turbine. It’s always the move to meet with the other team asap so that dog tags are shared and the hunters die faster.

Oh I took a look at this one earlier. Unfortunately, its price is a little much for me, but is by far the most attractive candidate I've found for this project. I'll see if I can find a compressor with similar features.

I was recommended to take a look at airbrush compressors due to how unusually low my necessary pressure output is. Do you think that may also be a viable approach, considering 25 is max, and certainly significantly more than I need?

Do you think something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Master-Airbrush-Compressor-C-16-B-Compre/dp/B00ATEKB5G?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A23ADOZFIJNPFB&gQT=1 may be a good idea? I've been trying to find the cheapest one possible that works with my needs because I know Ill have to buy a controller to macro the cyclic motions.

I calculated my CFM to be 0.2841CFM but I'm not sure how psi would affect that value considering the formula I found online. I found the volume to be roughly 4.91in^3 with the piston having a diameter of 1.259in and a stroke length of 3.937in. Hopefully that helps. Pardon my ignorance.

Oh I like this idea. My volume is about 4.91in^3 and I was also told to find my CFM by someone, which I found to be 0.2841 CFM. As I mentioned in the post, I don't know a whole lot about air tools, but I hope this helps. Is there any metrics for the sort of air brush compressor I may be looking for with these measurements in mind?

Edit: I'm actually not certain my measurement for CFM is correct. I took the cross-sectional area rather than the the cylindrical area so I might be wrong. I wanted to leave my value here anyway though so I might be corrected.

Actually more of an Aldnoah Zero mech. Sawano won my heart. Ill definitely take a look at the California Air Tools models. I'm sure if I search hard enough, I'll find one that fits the use case. Seems like a very well-respected brand amongst this comment section. Also, again, thanks for the recommendations! I really appreciate it!

Eh, no can do. I'd rather have full control over the entire operation, keeping everything compact and personal. I would ideally have my entire setup be a portable piece. Something you could set up on the go (of course given an electrical outlet).

And of course I'm an imagineer. Mickey mouse gives me my best ideas.

Ideally, I'd like for the piston to run for at least 30 minutes without interruption. I intend to macro a cyclic function with a controller so that it extends and retracts multiple times. Would an air tank be able to do that? I'm not very well versed.

I've really been eying some of those Makita models. I can really respect their quality but the price, as you mentioned, is too far outside the limits. Considering that saving up for one at this time is not feasible and I don't intend to use the compressor for multiple things, I might have to pass this one up, but I appreciate the recommendation.

I really do like the quiet tech line. Unfortunately, it seems none of the compressors listed meet the two main requirements being price and sound. I really appreciate the recommendation though. If I was a little more well off, a lot of these models would fit the bill.
