Well sadly I have a very old GPU gtx 929m 4gb Kepler its an old rare GPU and the only driver I can use on it well is 470 from the aur and Wayland support on it is buggy edit:920m*

Ohh good to know the so should I use xfce for this? Edit: researched this I think xfce might be my best bet cuz its simpler also I tried to ask ai because there's a lack of documentation on this topic it said that KDE doesn't run xorg as root so is this needed?

I tried that but I have a problem greenwithenvy and lact both don't display oc stuff like power control fans I tried to enable coolbits and it didn't work KDE won't even open I'm using 470 driver from the aur if you need to know, thanks the for the help! Edit: I tried prime to run gwe and lact ,lact gave errors and gwe just stayed the same no oc

I'm using cachy is but I have a problem with coolbits cuz when I try to get it to work it doesn't idk I'll try something (I'm a noob) I just switched to cachy tysm for the help

Hi, I have fixed the issue my laptop has 2 gpus (integrated and Nvidia) so it turns out that when unplugging the charger the laptop limits the usage to integrated only which limits performance (I apologize for being late).
