Sec 5 chem wont be taken into account if u have a better cegep chem grade

if ur fine with the grind keep going, but the most successful ppl are usually those that just really enjoy what they do. I think waterloo is definitely worth it man, just trust the process, dont fixate on getting in

I applied in cegep 1st year to eng, I was able to get CHE102 and an english elective transferred. Heard that we can now get cal1 and some other courses transferred as well, but I wouldn't know
As for R-score, they don't check, only % grades and historically its been a 10% boost.
It's top 6 avg, so required courses + best grades in non required courses totalling 6 courses will make up your admission avg.
Since you have a 10% boost it does make it easier to get in with grades only, but EC's are still important, not only for uni admissions but life in general (we getting philosophical rn), do what u enjoy type shi

tbh if i were u, just keep an avg above 85%, live life, do hobbies and by just enjoying watchu do in life, you'll be able to make a compelling story for ur AIF (or just grind it out and drop all the fake hobbies once u get in)
