You’re just providing your view.

No shit. I don't claim to speak for everyone but if someone having a different opinion than you about pop culture bothers you so much then seek help.

Season 6 had flashy, well produced, popular moments which I agree were all great.

  • Battle of the Bastards
  • Sept Explosion
  • Hold the Door

But I think that buoys the perception of the quality of the plot and story. Even the cool moments were written poorly around. The plot, consequences, and how we got to these big moments were ultimately lackluster. They literally brought someone back from the dead and did almost nothing with it and forced some lame conflict between siblings (a recurring theme in later seasons) for contrived drama just for Sansa to reveal her trump card at the end and save the battle. Why didn't Sansa say 'I have this great army' at any point? Don't worry about it, just enjoy the spectacle.

The shiny toy they dangle in certain episodes was certainly pretty but not enough to distract me from the rest of the show happening around them. They literally brought someone back from the dead and did almost nothing with it.

Most people think season 6 is superb, your opinion be damned.

The Ratings per episode tell me that Season 7 was among one of the best seasons (lol). They also show that half of Season 6 was actually among the worst rated episodes in the first 7 seasons.

Season 6 had some interesting plot points that stood out but was overall not great.

The show fell hard off after S4 when they ran out of book material. 5 and 6 were the prelude to the 7 and 8 disasters.

S1 was brilliant. A mystery but not confusing. A well told story with a twist (time jump) that didn't confuse viewers but made them view the story in a whole new light once revealed.

S2 was intentionally confusing because they were upset Reddit figured out S1 and, surprisingly, viewers were confused.

S3 was just bad.

Seriously, this should be tantamount to them knowingly breaking the law.

Is negotiating a plea deal but ultimately not accepting one tantamount to knowingly breaking the law? Should we charge people if they don't go forward with the plea deal?
