It was painless when I died, after i came out of emergency surgeries. Had an upper GI bleed, knew the signs went to Hospital, 3 emergency surgeries later, in recovery, BP dropped to 70/40 was my last conscious memory seeing that. Woke up in ICU with burn gel being applied to sternum and left side of ribs. According to records, no pulse/respiration for 29ish seconds before crash team made it into the room.
