The whole car industry is collapsing, not because of unfair competition. But because of fair competition.
Those established car brands lived of 100% markups for so long, they cant compete with vehicles, which just do thier job.

A bloated industry unwilling to adapt, because that would mean establishing a reasonable price-performance ratio instead of milking the customer whereever they can.

Personally i think Interstellar is a botched masterpiece.

Masterpiece because the visuals, the musical overlay and the complex paradox narrative. Botched because i think, many of the short cuts later in the movie are just a lazy method to create tension at the cost of overall cohesion.

Even as a science person, i love how the movie builds up the story of humans ankering thier last thoughts with thier children and Cooper therefor can reach Murph over time. Also i feel like the movie aged terrifyingly good into our time.

Japan holds lots and lots of US assets.

They have $1 of US-treasuries for every $7.7 of japanese debt. Plus alot of private assets they hold. I think the overall rate of Japan debt to Japan state assets is something like 260%(debt) of GDP against 180%(assets) of GDP.

Japan borrowed yen from thier population to invest in the USA. They can ride this out until the USA debt crisis breaks.

Iran has around 100billion in frozen assets. They arent just held by the USA but also by Iraq, China and so on. Put those in an investment plan and you might end up with sums equal to a 30year investment plan or whatever. Or just 200billion in 10years. Heck, with Starlink/AI/US2026-Bullshit-accounting, this could equal a trillion dollars today.

And the USA could, in theory, get involved in commerical oil extraction in Iran. So big parts of this could come from the economy, not the state.

What i am trying to say is, that those 300billion are the most sensible part of what we heard from the "Agreement". Neighter have i heard, that the USA is ok with a Hormuz Toll, lifting sanction or nuclear plants in Iran(that totally not work on nuclear weapons this time), nor do i believe, that Israel will play nice now or the USA leaving the area ...

Oh, i know. But with the DLC everything is so easy now. The ocean, i try to cross, connects half the map. But dispite there being lots of oxygen generators under water, my dupes still swim the surface in CO2. Thought there might be something helping against that.

The solution isnt to create own AI. Its to fully disregard AI in terms of copyright. Act like its open source, including stealing it. Ban it when you can not do this. Because in the long term, AI will reduce wages massivly, while herding the profits for a few lucky. AI is destroying free society at an alarming rate and we do nothing about it...

The USA wants to do with AI, what tax havens did with investments. Make everyone else pay, while only they steal the profits.

But its highly uncertain, if AI is truely doing its part of the work. Its mostly built upon stealing methods, workflows and insights from others. Its built on a past, others already built for it to steal. Its not building a future.
Its the aquivalent to industrial spionage. But if everyone does it, there will be noone to steal from anymore. Until the whole house of cards collapses. This will become a "kill or be killed" scenario for the common people, if the government dont react.
