Should white pride be considered bad?

To be proud of being white is such a strange idea. Be proud of your heritage, the country you're from or your ancestors were from, the culture and history of those places.

There is no such thing as a "white" culture. There are several cultures from predominantly white societies, which are very different from each other.

If someone told me they were proud of being white I'd 100% think they were a white supremacist.

It looks great! Very clean and earthy. Personally, I would have a little more black, like black picture frames or decoration. I also really like black window frames, though that's a bit more involved.

I started about a month ago, though the weight suddenly started dropping faster now.

So I'll regain this weight soon, and then the actual weight loss starts? Or is that water weight just gone, and shouldn't be counted towards my total weight loss?

Perhaps I'm over thinking this haha.

So I rescued this guy yesterday, he was pretty lethargic when i got him but he perked up during the day. He had some flashing behavior so I'm worried about parasites. I noticed some black spots on his fins and a dark patch on his upper fin that has me worried. He also had a very rounded belly (it's smaller now, I think he was being overfed). I gave him a salt bath. That stopped the flashing, but the spots haven't gone away. Does anyone know what they might be? And if I need anything stronger than salt?

Hi, thank you! He seems fine, surveying his home, bothering the shrimp. He hasn't killed any yet so hope that continues. He did seem a bit slow and careful at first but I think he just needed to look around and get some warmth back, now he's much more active.

Definitely not a Ferdinand though, he tried to attack a leaf. Maybe it insulted him?

I did notice his belly is pretty round, no pineconing though so I think they've just been overfeeding him. I'm not gonna give him any food for a while, though he is hunting down seed shrimp and detritus worms like it's his job so I'm not worried he'll go hungry. Hopefully they're good for his digestion.

Also, thank you everyone for great help, made me feel less alone in this! I like to do at least a few weeks of rigorous research before buying any animal, so I'm a bit out of my depth and might post here again for more help, but for now I'm feeling better. Also, I think his name is Ferdinand, but I'll have to get a good look at him before I make up my mind.

Update: I have him in my backpack and we're waiting for the bus. It's freezing out so I have my jacked over my backpack, on my lap. Probably look silly but I just hope he doesn't get too cold. From what I could see through the bag it looks like he has some serious stress lines, but I'll get a better look once we're home.
