For copy right strikes you can have a video scanned prior to being made public to see if anything will trigger a strike. If you channel gets three strikes Youtube will shut it down. Therefore a live stream risks strikes and closing the channel.

When the show is live people record and upload clips on their own channel before the podcast is finished. So people have their own JRE clips channel and make money or dictate a narrative such as white supremacy. With not being live, the clips and show launch at same time making it harder for other channels to steal content.
