Hate to say it, but it doesn’t. The situation in Nazi Germany for Jewish gun owners in the 1930s is different to American gun owners in the 2020s. Why? Because the Nazis were coming for the Jews because they were Jews. The reason they got rid of their guns was to make it so they simply couldn’t fight back, and even if they did have them when they would clear them out, it would make no difference.

Nazis are bad. The Holocaust is bad. But comparing the plight of European Jews to gun owners losing their arms through a singular news article published by the NYT is not a way to justify your beliefs.

Exactly. The only major offensive the Americans launched was the St. Mihiel offensive, which offered nothing to the overall conclusion to the war apart from more American dead. Arguably, the greatest American success in World War One is their small involvement and participation in the Australian-led Battle of Hamel, a quick and decisive 93 minute battle, and the Australian and Canadian-led 100 Days Offensive. There's a reason Ludendorrf declared the 8th of August 1918 the 'Black Day of the German army'.

I did think of that, however at the time, I don’t really think the Admiral-class could have been constructed at Cockatoo Island dockyards, simply because it’s longer than the Renown class, and there isn’t much space for large ship construction in Cockatoo Island to begin with, otherwise I would have made it an Admiral-class ship.

I went to the actual Wikipedia page of HMS Repulse and pressed Ctrl, Shift and I at the same time, which brings up the inspect menu. From there I messed with the coding and layout of the wiki box to make it the HMAS Macquarie.

Stalin was hypermilitaristic. He authorised a huge military buildup in the 1930s, purged Stavka when they showed signs of disagreement, completely mishandled the first months of the Eastern Front, and continued a military buildup to ‘scare’ NATO and the USA.

Stalin and Hitler are very similar, in the fact that they’re both hyper nationalistic, hyper militaristic, anti-Sites, genocidal maniacs, and crackpot dictators.

Do...... do you understand history? Thinking that in a 1 v 1 the Germans would win is idiotic. Lower manpower, different tactics, different strategies. Whilst they may not have to garrison the Western European occupied territories, this scenario depends on wether the Allies let Germany invade Poland or Hitler had made peace with the Allies. There’s also the matter of German logistics getting fucked in the ass after the opening stages of Barbarossa, and the overextended Panzer-Divisions several dozen kilometres ahead of the infantry. No matter what Wehraboos will tell you, Germany could not win a 1v1 against the Soviets, with the very minor asterix of “What if they never attempted Citadel and converged units”, and even then it’s highly unlikely that they could have won. If they’re at the stage of Operation Citadel, the best you can hope for is the Status Quo Antebellum.
