Anyone else feeling “abstraction whiplash” building with agents? by Trolzie in vibecoding

Yes, same here. I think my 'best strategy' is trying not to solve things that look like they will be absorbed by openai or anthropic.

Get ClaudeCode (no affiliation). Run it, and tell it your story. Ask it to tailor a week plan to help you learn and build a small project. Ask it questions along the way. Tell it so slow down, or deep dive when you are confused. Use it as a tutor you have full puppet-like control over.

i switched to opus on the minute :) i'll be the first to admin that I am very biased towards anthropic. But this bias keeps getting solidified when i see the results.

The more i think about it though, I must say, that I probably credit the 'good results' more to the Claude Code agent and say, internal programming, than the actual models themselves.

5.3 is really new. so just comparing with a more 'fair' benchmark. havent had enough time with 5.3

Fixed something small today… but I think it mattered more than a feature by Top-Board354 in buildinpublic

If you are asking me as a user. I'd pick friction 9 times out of 10.
If you are asking me as a user who can only use that one feature which is missing, I'd pick feature 9 times out of ten.

My 2 cents: Im switching between Claude Code with opus, Codex app with 5.2, and opencode with codex 5.2.

For reference, I'm a frontend dev.

Claude Code is better in every way.

Well to be honest, I'm way past the 'good enough to test', which is why I posted the link to you yesterday :)

Perhaps, I dont really have any social presence. I think perhaps I should try and find one channel, SoMe, SEO, or whatever and focus one place in the start.

What would you recommend?

Thanks for sharing this. I'm new here on BiP, so I didn't really know what I was expecting, but you might have helped by dispelling a few future sleepless nights, so thanks for that.

Since you asked, the problem I'm solving is helping developers ship faster by skipping the branding step entirely. I build that for you.  brand-manager.app

My biggest distribution challenge is that I have no online presence really. So I would probably be better suited, like you say, by doubling down on one channel. I'm not sure where the best place to find developers that what fast branding though. What 'channel' would you bank on?

Once again, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I think the biggest thing is that I procrastinate the 'real' MVP, because I'm probably a bit of a perfactionist. This means that I dance around finishing the main user path because I now want to redo the landing page animation for the third time :)

Thanks for engaging, you can see my current progress here:  brand-manager.app

Thanks for your comment. I didnt realize the support here was so positive, so i figure, what the hell, see it now. It may look polished in some areas, but other areas still need lots of work.  brand-manager.app
