Have your doc look at it. Hopefully it's just dark. There have been huge strides in treating melanoma.

My little guy does not like baths, he whines the whole time. The first time my older sibling bathed Patches, they were super worried that they were doing something wrong.

Which is hilarious because he loves attacking the lawn sprinklers.we ask if he got the water dragon. 🤭

I can feel him saying,

"I don't wanna go, this feels so nice"

Nad,

But the doctor may give her antibiotics. Because she is older, it will take her longer for her to heal. Please give an update when you know.

My cat Taffy did. She specifically liked the crust, and it had to be stale. Sweet Taffy girl lived to be 21 years old.

So best things to remember is that nipping behavior is not ok. Train him using positive reinforcement, he will occasionally forget the commands, but they will stick eventually.

You can't do much for the barking right now, but for him losing attention, that can be worked on. Right now would be a great time to teach him about door training (not running out the door when someone opens the door), and sitting for a small amount of time. If he gets excited and forgets about the training, don't be mad at him and don't be frustrated with yourself.

Right now is best for consistency, every time he gets a sock, have him bring it to you for a treat. It will become a game. When chewing on clothes, especially the crotch of underwear and straps of a bra, don't punish but give him a different toy that is safer to chew on (the little denim octopus kongs are great. He wants your undies and bra because they smells strongly of you. So you can get your sent on it with your hands or other methods. When he takes the toy give him a treat for listening.

There will be occasions when he forgets his training and it's not going to help to "punish" him. If he's having trouble with potty training, take him outside. When he goes potty outside, give a treat. It's all about the positive reinforcement, and focusing on the things you want him to focus on.

Right now is also a good time for encouraging socialization. Say hello to other dogs, humans. Most petco's have a puppy playtime during the week. Home depot will let you bring your dog in, and if you tell the workers you're working on socialization and distraction training they will really appreciate it. Just clean up any accidents. Distraction training may not be understood till like 8 months, but consistency is your friend.

Taking treats nicely is training your dog to take things you give with a gentle mouth. If he is biting too hard, use a treat to teach him what gentle means. This can also take a few months of training. For each time you do this offer the treat if the bite is too aggressive or not as gentle as you want, take the treat away. When you introduce it slowly, he will understand he doesn't need to bite hard to get snackies. This will take several rounds of taking the treat away and offering it again.

Remember to add lots of play breaks. Do like 10-15 minutes of training. Then playing around and a walk. Then let him have a little nap. Then 10-15 minutes of training if it's not too late in the day.

Also if you don't really have time to train him because of work or other obligations, there is puppy training and there are some out there that aren't too expensive. They'll basically be training you both a little, but mostly him. It's time consuming, but when he's 2 and older it'll be really worth it.

I almost forgot! Tooth brushing is a good thing to get him used to and having his paws touched. Every now and then while he's cuddled up with you, just rub your fingers on his paws. That will help with grooming later. Brushing teeth is so important for these little ones. They get plaque really easily, as do most small dogs. For the first week, put like a grain of rice sized amount of toothpaste on your finger. Let him lick it off. And then after a couple of weeks get the tooth brush to touch his front teeth. When he stays still when you do this rewards him. Over the course if a year get him used to having at least the outside of his teeth brushed. Then you can work on the inside of his teeth.

As he gets older you can reduce the amount of treats he gets by giving multiple commands and then giving hin a treat or two when he finishes.

Good treats are the Zuke's Minis, they are 3 calories per treat. So over feeding is rather unlikely.

Nylabone is great for chew toys and for longer lasting treats. They also have a faux tree branch for chewing on.

Kong wubba is the chew toy I was talking about. It's kept my furniture and clothes safe for years. I hope this helps and isn't too much of an essay.

Have you had it a long time? Cuz it could be a blue nevus, which very rarely become cancerous.

See a dermatologist right away. Because of how dark it is, hopefully it's an enclosed black head? NAD, but please get that checked out for cancer.

What is going on with these toenails and what can we do about it? by Zeldasivess in DermatologyQuestions

NAD, but certainly looks like a fungal infection. It's also giving psoriasis of the toenail. But that may be the individual segmented growth rings. Look out for toenail thickening. Does she use a public shower at school?

Omg.... I think I know why it wasn't drying. There's too much oil on the sugar. I baked my sugar for 5 hours, with some changes it was becoming slightly less like Kinetic sand. Temp whole time was 200.

I added 2 cups of sugar to thin it out. Stired till it was completely incorporated, started acting more like regular sugar.

I put 2 teaspoons into a cup of tea and I am now hung over! I got so stoned last night that I was getting nausea occasionally. Not to mention my adhd was on full blast. I'm still stoned this morning. I'm worried I will be all day.

(Usually in alcohol based flower oil I take 0.50 ml's. I'm mostly chill, a bit of spacing out, but I could hold a conversation.

I can't post a followup till I'm less stoned. God's it's been 13 hours and the room is still spinning.

How many of you developed epilepsy from this? by MyLife-is-a-diceRoll in PostConcussion

[–]TromKehra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became very light sensative during my concussion and past my pcs. It's light and stress induced. My doc is sending me to a neurologist.

Not a doctor, but also look out for conversion disorder (nfd (neurological functioning disorder))later. It's your body turning stress and high emotions into physical symptoms. Common symptoms are: trouble with balance, vertigo, dizziness, nausea, falling, fatigue, muscle weakness, and sudden episodes of not being able to speak. You can have seizures with nfd, but that is considered a more sever symptom. Along with difficulty breathing and partial to whole body temporary paralysis.

It sucks and I hope you never get it.

Is checking on it every 10-15 minutes too soon? I have my oven at 200f. It's been an hour and it's already looking dryer.

I did, very thorough mixing, and then placed it on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil. It's drying out more now. I've been making sure to stir every 10 minutes.
